Only two teams on a bye in Week 10, which means you likely have big lineup decisions.
Senior Fantasy Writer Dave Richard will answer as many of your questions as he can in an hour when he stops by for a live chat Friday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. ET.
Feel free to submit a question now or stop by Friday afternoon!
 | (11/13 14:48 PM) Hey guys, we're going to test the chat room right now -- we're having some technical issues on the site today.
(11/13 14:48 PM) Jun, New York - Both my top 2 WR's are out (Johnson and S. Smith). Jennings is my first replacement. Should I go with Boldin or Breaston as the other replacement?
 | (11/13 14:49 PM) I think Boldin is safer than Breaston and it looks like he'll play. I'd go with him. I actually would consider both over Jennings to given how he's been playing of late.
(11/13 14:49 PM) matt, madison,wi - schaub on a bye---so play Hasslebeck or drop him for Sanchez? also, lesser of two evils--Bowe or Burleson? or roll the dice and play both Hasslebeck and Burleson
 | (11/13 14:50 PM) I'd go with Hasselbeck over Sanchez and Bowe over Burleson, though that's a close one.
 | (11/13 14:50 PM) If you guys can read all this, let me know via the chat room.
(11/13 14:52 PM) mike, miami, fl - Able to read chat.
(11/13 14:52 PM) answer a tough question for once, phoenix, az - I can read you.....
(11/13 14:52 PM) Jonathan Millar, Cantury City,CA - Yup I can read the chat
(11/13 14:52 PM) Kell, South Jersey - I can see your chat
 | (11/13 14:53 PM) Great job guys ... thanks for letting me know. We'll go off at 3 p.m. ET as planned. As for the dude asking me to answer a tough question ... SEND IT IN!
 | (11/13 15:00 PM) Good afternoon everybody, thanks for coming to the CBSSports.com Fantasy Football chat. I'll be here for the next hour answering your questions and helping you get ready for Week 10. Please note that the site is experiencing some slowness today, which is why some updates and Rapid Reports aren't showing up yet. If I was a tech geek I'd probably have more details, but I'm a football geek, so I can't help you there. Let's get to the questions.
(11/13 15:00 PM) Gabba-Ghoul, Hoagie City, PA - Dave: I'm making a scary sandwich and need a flex...Breaston or Moreno? Thanks.
 | (11/13 15:02 PM) Hilarious. And appetizing. I'd fit Moreno in the sandwich even though his matchup is bad and he'll be sharing carries. Breaston's numbers are pedestrian when Anquan Boldin is healthy, and signs point to Boldin being active in Week 10. Moreno has a shot to post better stats.
(11/13 15:02 PM) Greg, Calif - Any idea how serious MJDs knee is?
 | (11/13 15:04 PM) It's not. He practiced in full on Friday and is listed as probable for the Jags' game at the Jets. He's probably the only Jacksonville player worth starting in Fantasy this week.
(11/13 15:04 PM) Stretch, New York,NE+Y - Who would u start Mccoy or LT?
 | (11/13 15:05 PM) The latest on the Philly running backs is that Westbrook is expected to play. He's listed as probable but will definitely split reps with LeSean McCoy. That said, I'd rather have LT's 15 or so total touches vs. McCoy's 10.
(11/13 15:05 PM) NambiePambies, west lafayette IN - Austin Collie or Braylon Edwards for #3 WR?
 | (11/13 15:06 PM) Edwards has a good matchup but the Jets might run a lot and not pass much. Collie has been a disappointment lately, however. I thinK Edwards is probably safer but neither receiver is ideal beyond a No. 3 option, which is good for you Nambie.
(11/13 15:06 PM) mark, missoula - Hey Dave, I've got B. Berrian as a bye week replacemnet in a Non PPR league, would you stick with him or pick up either D Henderson or P Garcon?
 | (11/13 15:07 PM) As much as I don't like Collie, I definitely think Garcon has a shot at a big game. Indianapolis' second receiver (excluding Dallas Clark) has done well in the series with the Patriots, and Manning has looked for Garcon more than Collie lately. I'd go with him over Berrian for sure.
(11/13 15:07 PM) Mike H, Detroit, MI - Hey Dave, the trade deadline is rapidly approaching and i was wondering what you think of my WR's,,,,do i need to upgrade anywhere? A. Johnson, C. Johnson, Simms-Walker
 | (11/13 15:08 PM) It should be good enough, though if you could find someone to give you a stud receiver for Johnson and Sims-Walker you'll probably be doing well.
(11/13 15:08 PM) Ryan, SantA rosa - Mcfadden or Lynch?
 | (11/13 15:09 PM) No one should start McFadden this week. The Raiders will go with three running backs with him back and it will annoy us in Fantasyland. Lynch's workload is easier to trust and should be the better option. I'd keep McFadden benched.
(11/13 15:09 PM) Tony, miami, fl - which 2rb's? k. smith, barber, charles, j. jones or betts? PPR league. Thanks
 | (11/13 15:11 PM) A slew of No. 3 backs, Tony. The PPR factor makes Charles and Smith more appealing (Barber hasn't been catching the ball much) but I think your best choices are Barber, Charles and Betts.
(11/13 15:11 PM) Dave, The Burgh - Do you like Crabtree or Wallace better the rest of the way. Wallace gets TD's
 | (11/13 15:11 PM) Exactly! Plus Crabtree has fallen off with Alex Smith under center over the Niners' last two games.
(11/13 15:11 PM) Tsull, Boston - Austin and Beanie too much to give up for R. Moss?
 | (11/13 15:12 PM) Nope. I think if that's all it will take to get a stud like Moss with a nice schedule down the stretch, you should jump on that.
(11/13 15:12 PM) Ken, CA - My league treat TE as WR. Did I make the right move to bench J Witten and start L Evans???
 | (11/13 15:14 PM) I think so. Witten has been a nightmare this year and is a certain bust. Tennessee's secondary is much improved and Evans could struggle, but he should be able to get you at least five Fantasy points.
(11/13 15:14 PM) Sarah, Buffalo, NY - Hey Dave need your help playing my Fiancee this week!! please pick 2 between LT, Lynch, Shonne Green, Maroney, and Westbrook...Thanks hun
 | (11/13 15:15 PM) LOL Sarah ... you've got to win. I'd pick Maroney and Westbrook, who I like better than L.T. though I do like L.T. more than McCoy, his backup.
(11/13 15:15 PM) Jim, Denver, CO - Hey Dave, just wondering about the seriousness of DeAngelo's knee? Should I start him or Mendenhall this week? Also, do you like Sims-Walker, Royal, Evans or Meachem as a WR3?
 | (11/13 15:17 PM) Yes, let's get into this -- DeAngelo Williams' knee has forced him out of practice twice this week and is questionable for Week 10. He might play, he might not -- we'll have the official word on Fantasy Football Today this Sunday at 11 a.m. ET. If you can wait to set your lineups, I'd go with Williams if he is active over Mendenhall. Do the opposite if Williams is out. As for your No. 3 WR, I think Sims-Walker is probably the safest even with his awful matchup.
(11/13 15:17 PM) mike C., newhaven, tonysparanoville - J-Stew or Westbrook?
 | (11/13 15:18 PM) I think this is another decision you'll have to make on Sunday morning. If Williams is out, Stewart is an obvious choice. If Williams is in, Westbrook is the obvious choice. Hopefully you can wait until then to make the lineup call.
(11/13 15:18 PM) dumska, honolulu, hi - Dave- show some aloha and help a brudda out!!! Sims-Walker or James Jones at WR#3 to compliment Colston and Marshall....
 | (11/13 15:19 PM) LOTS of questions on Sims-Walker. Here's the deal: He's been bad on the road, as has QB David Garrard, and will be blanketed by Jets CB Darrelle Revis this week. He's a good cornerback, so that's real bad for MSW. But Jones isn't a safer option than Sims-Walker -- take the educated risk and figure that Sims-Walker will be better.
(11/13 15:19 PM) Teach, Twin Falls, Idaho - What two do I start in a league that gets 1 point every 20 yards running and recieving and 6 for touchdowns, Kvin Smith, L.T. B. Wells. I know pathetic.
 | (11/13 15:22 PM) Hey Teach. I think L.T. and Smith are your safest choices, but all three seem destined for around 60 yards. Wells won't catch the ball much and that
hurts him here. |
(11/13 15:22 PM) Korey, South Bend - Should I play Roy Williams or Tim Hightower?
 | (11/13 15:22 PM) Hightower is the much safer play. He's nearly a lock to score each week.
 | (11/13 15:24 PM) Small piece of Fantasy news to pass along -- the Bucs unexpectedly put Derrick Ward on their injury report as questionable today. He might not play against the Dolphins on Sunday, which would mean more reps for Cadillac Williams. We'll keep you posted during the week.
(11/13 15:25 PM) Joe, DC - I've got Addai, Ocho and Sidney Rice all with decent matchups...pick 2?
 | (11/13 15:25 PM) Tough call between Ocho and Rice. Rice has been awesome but not necessarily in games where the Vikings aren't expected to throw. I think I'd sit him and go with Ochocinco and Addai.
(11/13 15:25 PM) Roy Williams, Dallas, TX - Am I going to have a better game than Nate Burleson?
 | (11/13 15:26 PM) I wouldn't trust you, Roy, especially up against a decent set of corners in Green Bay that should be able to handle you. Burleson is the safer pick; the Seahawks should be throwing a bunch against the Cardinals.
(11/13 15:27 PM) Kevin, Zionsville - Hey Dave -- Have been rotating between the Cots DST and NE with good success. This week is a problem and only plausible choice on the wire is CIN. Which should roll with?
 | (11/13 15:27 PM) No Titans, Cardinals or Dolphins, eh? That's OK. I'd go with the Bengals DST -- they're the stronger unit and they held the Steelers to 20 points earlier in the year.
(11/13 15:27 PM) greg, San Diego, Calif - Trade J Charles for Hightower??
 | (11/13 15:28 PM) Man, if someone's silly enough to give you Hightower for Charles, don't stop them!!
(11/13 15:28 PM) Greg, San Diego, Calif - You have McCoy 14 - barber 20 and Lynch 25. If Westbrook plays what impact - pls put in order.
 | (11/13 15:28 PM) Greg, the order has changed. Check them out here: http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/rankings
(11/13 15:29 PM) THE WEAVE, SAN DIEGO - RODGERS OR BIG BEN and then Roddy White, Burleson, Austin James Jones and Mason pick three
 | (11/13 15:29 PM) Lots of San Diego questions. Interesting. I like Roethlisberger over Rodgers -- I'm actually a little nervous about Rodgers this week against Dallas even though he's at home. I'd pick Austin, Mason and White as your receivers.
(11/13 15:29 PM) Drew, Green Bay, WI - I've got L. Fitzgerald, R. Wayne, and V. Jackson. Which two do I start this week? They've been giving me a headache all year!
 | (11/13 15:30 PM) Wow, great receivers Drew. Fitzgerald is a must. Wayne's history against the Colts is not good -- one career 100-yard game and one career TD against them. I think V. Jackson is the safer start to be honest. Nice team!
(11/13 15:31 PM) jeffmarc, ca - who do you like better for the remainder of the season at qb Warner or Schaub? I'm in a standard scoring league.
 | (11/13 15:31 PM) I'm pretty sure Schaub's schedule is easier, even with the Titans and Colts up next for him. I'd rather roll with him and trade Warner after Week 10.
(11/13 15:31 PM) Matt, Lewes, Delaware - Dave, Quick question Barber or Lynch? Is this a flip of the coin?
 | (11/13 15:32 PM) Not quite. I think Barber is a little safer but both are low-end No. 2/top-end No. 3 Fantasy options.
(11/13 15:32 PM) answer a tough question for once, phoenix, az - O.K. Dave I'm sending it in. Barber, Addai, P. Thomas, S. Greene pick 2. Flaaco or Rodgers need 1. Standard scoring league. Don't get scared Dave.
 | (11/13 15:33 PM) I never shy away from tough questions -- I just don't get them often. I'd pick Addai and Thomas at RB and Flacco at QB. And I'm still waiting for a tough question ...
(11/13 15:33 PM) Heston, College Station, TX - Hey Dave, should I start Donald Brown over Tomlinson?
 | (11/13 15:34 PM) A lot of people are nervous about Tomlinson this week. I don't see him as a complete nightmare that you have to consider weak choices in his place. It seems like he'll play, and the Eagles have been burned by versatile running backs this season. I don't mind Tomlinson at home this week, definitely over D. Brown.
(11/13 15:34 PM) Deanna Favre, Flip Flop Land - Should I give my husband the nod over Aaron Rodgers this week?
 | (11/13 15:35 PM) Hi Deanna. Congrats on surviving breast cancer -- very admirable. I don't see your hubby throwing much as his coaches opt to keep his activity limited. You know, because he's 40 and dealing with shoulder and groin soreness. Rodgers should post more stats and more interceptions as well.
(11/13 15:35 PM) Tough question asker, Atlanta - How much does a sparrow weigh?
 | (11/13 15:36 PM) Now THAT is a tough question (11 ounces).
(11/13 15:36 PM) Jim, Pa - Dave is Tony Scheffler going to make some noise this weekend?
 | (11/13 15:36 PM) Jim, Tony shows up in games where he has a good matchup only. Very much a situational tight end. I don't like him against the Redskins, who have been very good against opposing tight ends. This game is not a slam-dunk for Denver in spite of the Redskins' record.
(11/13 15:37 PM) LH, DC - Breaston or D. Bowe this week as my #3 WR?? What are your thoughts about R. White as a #2 WR the rest of the year??
 | (11/13 15:38 PM) White is fine as a No. 2 WR for the rest of the way and I like Bowe over Breaston this week.
(11/13 15:39 PM) Missing Ronnie, Browntown USA - Have you seen Ronnie Brown? Sure he had a passing TD against NE, but other than that hes been missing since week 5. Will the Old Ronnie be back this week?
 | (11/13 15:39 PM) Awesome question. With the Bucs and their weak run defense coming to Miami, expect both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to play strong football. Brown actually has a very good schedule over the next couple of weeks (Ricky too). It wouldn't even be wrong to start BOTH of them in Week 10.
(11/13 15:40 PM) Jonathan Stewart, Charlotte NC - I see my buddy Deangelo hobbling around - should I put myself in the lineup over guys like Buckholter, M Bell, Kolby Smith, M Bush, and D Ward?
 | (11/13 15:41 PM) Definitely do that, Jonathan. By the way, how's the Achilles'? You ready to run on it if Williams doesn't play on Sunday? We'll know whether or not Williams will be in or out on Fantasy Football Today, 11 a.m. ET here on CBSSports.com
(11/13 15:41 PM) jim mcmahon, chicago, ill - Is jay cutler really going to be this useless the rest of the year?
 | (11/13 15:43 PM) Cutler was worth 2 points in standard-scoring leagues last night. Wonderful. I think as long as he's passing he's going to deliver good yardage and should rebound from this ridiculous performance. He's not a slam-dunk Fantasy starter though, depending on who else you have.
(11/13 15:44 PM) Matt, STL - Forte is coming off quite a few decent games, do you see him keeping this up the rest of the year?
 | (11/13 15:45 PM) This is actually one of our topics on Fantasy Football Today on Sunday. I'm still of the belief that his biggest stat games of the year are behind him. To rely on a running back for his receiving yards is to play with fire on your Fantasy team. It worked out well the last two weeks but the fact remains that he isn't a solid rusher because of his line. And he's not even seeing eight in the box! I think he's OK as a low-end No. 2 RB for some tough matchups ahead, including two dates with the Vikings.
 | (11/13 15:46 PM) OK guys, let's kick it up a notch with some lightning round question and answer periods. You keep your questions short and my replies will be short. Hopefully everyone can get their questions answered. Let's go.
(11/13 15:46 PM) MIke, Clarkston - Farve or Brady
 | (11/13 15:46 PM) This is a joke, right? BRADY!!
(11/13 15:46 PM) Kurt, Florida - Would you trade L Maroney for J Stewart
 | (11/13 15:47 PM) Not at this point unless you had DeAngelo Williams and were desperate to get his backup. And even then ... ehhhh.
(11/13 15:47 PM) MIKE, MIAMI, FL - COLLIE OR GARCON
 | (11/13 15:47 PM) I've liked Collie in the past. I'm on the Garcon bandwagon this week.
(11/13 15:47 PM) James, Ottawa - Zach Miller, Todd Heap or Brandon Pettigrew?
 | (11/13 15:48 PM) Heap has a dream matchup but I think Miller is the safer choice.
(11/13 15:48 PM) Mike, NYC - MSW or Breaston?
 | (11/13 15:48 PM) Breaston. I'm ice cold on Sims-Walker
(11/13 15:48 PM) Lions, MI - Warner, Rivers or Hasselbeck?
 | (11/13 15:48 PM) I wouldn't sit Warner right now. Not the way he's playing.
(11/13 15:48 PM) Boomer, New Hampshire - Ryan or Orton - Saints or Ravens?
 | (11/13 15:49 PM) I'd go with Ryan and the Ravens DST.
(11/13 15:49 PM) Help, MN - Mendenhall or Stewert if Deangelo is out?
 | (11/13 15:49 PM) Mendenhall. One of the Steelers' little secrets is that they run all over the Bengals. Been doing it for a while.
(11/13 15:49 PM) scott, alvin,tx - S. GREEN OR J. JONES
 | (11/13 15:49 PM) Keep them short, everybody. Scott I'd trust Green over Jones. Jones has an ugly matchup.
(11/13 15:50 PM) Jonathan Millar, Century City, CA - Willie Parker, WHAT HAPPENED!?!? is there any value here?
 | (11/13 15:50 PM) Nope. Would you believe he's on waivers in my deep 14-team league? Seriously!
(11/13 15:50 PM) Superbowl Bound, Detroit - Lynch, Caddy or Charles? Garcon, Maclin or Floyd?
 | (11/13 15:50 PM) I'd go with Lynch and Garcon.
(11/13 15:50 PM) Matt, Dallas, TX - L.T. or Shonn Greene- B.Berrian or N. Burleson
 | (11/13 15:50 PM) L.T. and Burleson
(11/13 15:50 PM) Warrior, MI - Roddy White or Hines Ward
 | (11/13 15:50 PM) Definitely Ward.
(11/13 15:51 PM) MM, Detroit - S. Rice, S. Smith or Boldin???
 | (11/13 15:51 PM) Picking one? Smith. Two? Smith and Boldin.
(11/13 15:51 PM) P, Funk - Start Betts over Barber?
 | (11/13 15:51 PM) Nope. Betts is banged up and will share the ball a little bit. I'd rather have Barber.
(11/13 15:51 PM) ugggh, michigan - keep three brady, ronnie brown, cedric, andre johnson
 | (11/13 15:51 PM) For this week? Throw back Benson. For 2010? Ask me later ...
(11/13 15:52 PM) Tedder, Durham NC - Moreno, Cadillac or Collie
 | (11/13 15:52 PM) I'd go with Cadillac, especially if D. Ward is inactive.
(11/13 15:52 PM) MP, Rowlett, TX - Celek or Witten
 | (11/13 15:52 PM) Witten is trash to me right now for Fantasy. Celek is a great choice.
(11/13 15:52 PM) Tom, Santa Cruz, CA - Kolby Smith or Derek Ward? Don't laugh.
 | (11/13 15:52 PM) I guess Smith. And I'm laughing even though you can't see me.
(11/13 15:52 PM) Mitch, Charlotte - Pick 1 - Derrick Mason, Desaun Jackson, or Lawrence Maroney
 | (11/13 15:53 PM) I'd trust Maroney, but all three should be solid.
(11/13 15:53 PM) Lost, Columbus, Ohio - Drop Manningham tp pick up Garcon? I have Manning as my QB.
 | (11/13 15:53 PM) Sure. You'll probably get a shot at getting Manningham back off waivers next week anyway.
(11/13 15:53 PM) roethlisburger's therapist, fayetteville, arkansas - chris wells or mike bell?
 | (11/13 15:54 PM) Bell is fading fast with the Saints. I'd go with Wells.
(11/13 15:54 PM) Mike H, Detroit MI - Megatron for welker good or bad... i get welker
 | (11/13 15:54 PM) Good! Welker has two healthy knees.
(11/13 15:54 PM) Sweet and Short, Answer Please - Pick three: Boldin, Breaston, M. Wallace, Bowe, R.Bush
 | (11/13 15:54 PM) Love the short and sweet questions in the lightning round. I'd go with Wallace, Boldin and Bowe
(11/13 15:54 PM) Help, NFL land - Will Rapid Reports come back today?
 | (11/13 15:55 PM) We're experiencing some technical difficulties with our site. Please be patient.
(11/13 15:55 PM) need help, Indiana - Big Ben or Brady
 | (11/13 15:55 PM) No one is better than Brady this week. Except maybe JaMarcus Russell :)
(11/13 15:55 PM) Bob, Columbus, Ohio - Is it wise to load up on Colts WR's? I have Peyton Manning as QB and Collie as WR already and Garcon is available.
 | (11/13 15:55 PM) They throw a lot, right? Probably minimal chance they get shut out. I think it's a darn fine idea.
(11/13 15:55 PM) fudge, city - pierre or ricky
 | (11/13 15:56 PM) Thomas is definitely safer but you won't go wrong with either guy. I suppose Thomas is better because he won't share as much.
(11/13 15:56 PM) quick one, right here - Marshall, Percy or McCoy?
 | (11/13 15:56 PM) McCoy
(11/13 15:56 PM) Tom, Green Bay - Mendenhall or Grant?
 | (11/13 15:56 PM) Mendenhall
(11/13 15:56 PM) Monty, PA - Trade Austin, Chambers, Lynch for Moss. Fair?
 | (11/13 15:56 PM) I guess. Not really exciting for the guy losing Moss.
(11/13 15:57 PM) jim, NYC - Westy sharing carries, Fargas or J Charles--need 1 for flex?
 | (11/13 15:57 PM) Westbrook
(11/13 15:57 PM) This must be too hard for you to answer!, NC - Breaston or Harvin?
 | (11/13 15:57 PM) Omigosh I don't know! Uh, Breaston.
(11/13 15:57 PM) Dave R, Fan - Garcon or Chambers for the remainder?
 | (11/13 15:57 PM) Garcon for sure.
(11/13 15:57 PM) Tagliabue, History - Pick 3: O.J., W. Payton, G. Sayers, J. Brown
 | (11/13 15:57 PM) Walter, Sayers, Brown. And it has nothing to do with O.J. off the field, either.
(11/13 15:58 PM) Mike, Tampa - Sims-walker or Housh?
 | (11/13 15:58 PM) Housh. Start almost anyone over Sims-Walker
(11/13 15:58 PM) Scott, MD - Hines Ward or Reggie Wayne? Ryan Grant or Lawrence Maroney?
 | (11/13 15:58 PM) Ward is actually good enough to replace Wayne. Maroney is safer.
 | (11/13 15:59 PM) BREAKING: Betts officially questionable for Week 10
(11/13 15:59 PM) GUY, lewis,a - Ryan or Palmer?
 | (11/13 15:59 PM) Ryan
(11/13 16:00 PM) Jeff, NY - PPR Mike Bell? Steve Slaton? Lee Evans?
 | (11/13 16:00 PM) Slaton is on bye. I'd go with Evans.
(11/13 16:00 PM) Monty, PA - Pick-up Betts back-up?
 | (11/13 16:00 PM) If you're desperate for RB help, sure.
(11/13 16:01 PM) last question, IL - dolphins or cowboys dst
 | (11/13 16:01 PM) And how ironic -- you are the last question. I like the Cowboys DST more than the Dolphins, but both will be solid in Week 10.
 | (11/13 16:02 PM) OK guys, that will do it for me. If your question did not get answered, you can try and follow up with me on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/daverichard. I answer Fantasy questions there. Also email me at dmfantasyfootball@cbs.com. Good luck in Week 10, and I'll see you on Sunday for Fantasy Football Today at 11 a.m. ET here on CBSSports.com.
