A lot for owners to think about entering Fantasy Week 18 with the trade deadline producing many new faces in new places.
Our Sergio Gonzalez will stop by on Monday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. ET to answer your Fantasy Basketball questions heading into the coming week.
Feel free to submit a question now or stop by on Monday.
(02/22 16:00 PM) Lucas C, NY - Do you think i should put Taj Gibson at my Flex or the very anoyying Rashard Lewis
 | (02/22 16:01 PM) Hey, Lucas. I think you should go with Taj this week. I really like Chicago's matchups and think he could be in for a bigger week than Lewis.
(02/22 16:01 PM) Conrad, Knoxville, TN - With DWade out for next week, I'm forced to start BGordon...Are any of these guys worthy of a stop-gap over Ben? F.Garcia (already have him), TJ Ford, Chalmers, Rasual, or JHarden. Thanks!
 | (02/22 16:03 PM) I have Gordon as a sit this week, but considering the options you are facing Gordon may not that bad. The Pistons play Sacramento, Denver and Golden State this week and Gordon did have a nice game Saturday. I am not convinced he is 100 percent yet, but the possibility is there for a nice stat line.
(02/22 16:03 PM) Mark, Detroit, MI - With Tmac in town, who still retains h2h fantasy-pts value, Danilo or WChandler? I have both and might look to drop one for Ty Thomas or Taj Gibson...i also have Diaw and am wary of his situation in Charlotte as well. Any thoughts on the matter? Thx
 | (02/22 16:06 PM) I think they both will. One thing that D'Antoni has talked about is that the most important thing for his team the rest of the way is the development of those two players specifically. With that said, Gallinari does appear to be taking more of a hit than Wilson and Taj Gibson is in a situation to possibly have a huge rest of the season. I would rather have Gibson, who could be around 10-and-10 the rest of the season.
(02/22 16:06 PM) nick, philly - what the deal with noah this week and could he be a safe play????
 | (02/22 16:07 PM) He came back a little sooner than expected this minute, but he played just seven minutes. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play limited minutes for the next few games until he gets back to being comfortable with the pain in his foot. Another setback could have the Bulls shutting him down for a while.
(02/22 16:08 PM) John, Nashville, TN - Sit which one of these guys for next week: Hibbert, WChandler, or Galinari?
 | (02/22 16:10 PM) Gallinari. Like I mentioned above, I think the T-Mac addition is having more of an impact on him in the short term. Hibbert hasn't been great lately, but he has decent matchups this week and should put up a better week than slumping Gallo will.
(02/22 16:10 PM) Steven, Atlanta, GA - Start which 2 of these 3 in h2h avg-based league? Hinrich, ABrooks, and Camby. Also, Nash is a safe start for next week, right?
 | (02/22 16:12 PM) I really like Hinrich this week for his matchups. He should have a big week with the Bulls in line for some high-scoring games. Brooks is a must-start and while Camby hasn't gotten off to a great start offensively in Portland, he should come around. Nash has been ruled out for one game already this week and is extremely risky. Go with Hinrich, Brooks and Camby.
(02/22 16:13 PM) Travis, Denver, CO - 8-cat roto: CJW or LouWill a better option than Morrow? Also, start which 2 of these 4 for next week: Casspi, Danilo, Ariza, and JThompson?
ps: I need help in FG% and stls. Thanks as always...
 | (02/22 16:15 PM) There have been a couple of developments today that affect this decision. For one thing, Corey Maggette has been ruled out through the week and that makes Morrow viable again as a great play. Lou Williams could also see a big boost now that Allen Iverson has been ruled out indefinitely and may have even played his last game with the Sixers. Of the two, I like Morrow this week. Start Thompson and Casspi.
(02/22 16:16 PM) Jason, Australia - since there was no movement in detroit, what numbers will gordan and stucky put up with a healthy rip and prince?
(02/22 16:17 PM) johnny cupcakes, boston - what should i make of francisco garcia and travis outlaw? worth it to keep or drop them both? very deep 16 man league. also, please rate the following as possible waiver pickups: foye, cj watson, battier, batum, george hill, dunleavy - any one of them standout and be grabbed immediately?
 | (02/22 16:19 PM) I think Garcia has a chance to settle in as a significant contributor once he settles in after his long absence. But he will have to compete with a few other players for touches. Outlaw, at his best, has always been a waiver wire player who is on and off rosters based on his matchups. As for your waiver wire options there, nothing stands out as a must-add, but I do think Foye is worth a pick up.
(02/22 16:20 PM) Jason, Sacramento, CA - I've been spoiled by Darren Collison in a 12-team H2H league since Chris Paul went down. How long should I keep him because our playoffs start in Week 21? Our waiver wire is getting thin.
 | (02/22 16:25 PM) Collison is one of the more clear examples of a sell-high candidate there is. Think about trading him to somebody who will give you a steady option for the stretch run just for the off chance that Paul gets shut down for the year by a Hornets team that isn't going anywhere.
(02/22 16:25 PM) dirk nowitzki, dallas - whats the word on my best friend steve nash? i know he didn't make the trip for okc, but with a 4 game week, can i consider him good to go for the other 3? i know those trainers in phx are magicians. my i got le petit point backing him up and he looks to be out indefinitely...SCHEISSE!!
 | (02/22 16:27 PM) I think Nash is an OK start in average-based leagues where even if he plays just one game he will give you something you can use. Fantasy owners in weekly formats have a much tougher decision to make. There really is no other news other than that he won't play Tuesday. Beyond that, you are taking a big risk.
(02/22 16:27 PM) alvin, london - with the logjam at the wing in washington, mike miller seems to have taken step back. would you start jr smith with 3 games (including one agains gsw) over millers 4 games (including games at ny and nj)? miller seems to be sliding, and smith has been gearing up...
 | (02/22 16:28 PM) I know what you mean, Miller has taken a step back since the arrival of Josh Smith. J.R. Smith's numbers have dropped since Melo returned from his injury, but they are better than what Miller has offered over the last couple of games. Go with Smith.
(02/22 16:28 PM) AK, 47 - i need some help with my line up! between these three, who do i start this week!! choose between mcgee, landry, diaw, or thompson. i'm already starting b.lopez/bynum/duncan down low.
 | (02/22 16:30 PM) Landry, Thompson, Diaw, McGee in that order.
(02/22 16:30 PM) questionable, here - my backcourt is in shambles this week, i need help! which two do i start? nash, parker, m.miller, jr smith? i've already got j.johnson/salmons/brooks plugged in and need two more. thanks!
 | (02/22 16:31 PM) Smith and Parker. Nash over Smith if you are the gambling type. He has been ruled out for one of his four games already.
 | (02/22 16:31 PM) Wait, sorry...
 | (02/22 16:31 PM) Parker is injured, I almost forgot. He's even more risky than Nash.
 | (02/22 16:32 PM) Yeah, you are in a tough spot :) Go with Miller and Smith or search the waiver wire.
(02/22 16:32 PM) concerned, AL - there's a concentration of wings in washington now. is mike miller droppable? anyone i should consider in a 10team H2H league?
 | (02/22 16:33 PM) He still has some appeal and the fact that he's taken a step back over a couple of games doesn't mean he won't get back on track here soon. He'll have to find a comfort zone alongside Al Thornton and Josh Howard. However, I like him more for 12-team leagues at this point.
(02/22 16:33 PM) boris diaw, charlotte - looks like i am steppin up despite TT's arrival. could this have actually been a good thing for me? will i finally be consistent?
 | (02/22 16:34 PM) I wouldn't say this trade was a good thing for you, but it isn't as bad as it could have been -- at least not yet.
(02/22 16:34 PM) a, uk - should i be worried? i've got 3 pgs on my roster...and 2 of them (nash and parker) are banged up. only brooks is healthy. should i be looking to add someone off the waiver wire for backup over the playoffs or should both my guys be good to go by then? i prefer more depth on the wings and down low.
 | (02/22 16:35 PM) Parker could be shut down for a while, but that will depend on the results of his MRI. Nash's injury doesn't seem like it will keep him out for too long. I understand the concern, but you are still in a good spot at PG if those are your three options.
(02/22 16:35 PM) ah, hackney - who would you rather have in your lineup this week? landry/thompson/diaw/mcgee?
 | (02/22 16:36 PM) I like them in the exact order you have them in there, actually.
(02/22 16:36 PM) gmoney, brick lane - for the week, do i start m.miller with 4 games (including games vs nyk and njn) or jr smith with 3 (including one vs. gsw)?
 | (02/22 16:37 PM) JR Smith. I think somebody else had the exact same question earlier in the chat.
(02/22 16:37 PM) dizzy, bow - do i start steve nash, and consider it a 3 game week - or play it safe and bench him - leaving me with only 1pg in my lineup (brooks), as my other pg (parker) is out?
 | (02/22 16:38 PM) I am going to advise that you be safe where you have alternatives. If you are in an average-based league, I think Nash could still be a safe play as I don't think this will keep him out all four games. But one or two games would not be a surprise.
(02/22 16:38 PM) princess leia, alderon - segrio wan kenobi...your'e my only hope! who do i start this week? i need to choose four of the following:
nash
parker
m.miller
jr.smith
c.landry
b.diaw
j.thompson
j.mcgee
 | (02/22 16:40 PM) Wow, it seems a lot of you out there have the same options to go with. You can't start Parker, I wouldn't start Nash (unless you are in an average-based league). I would start Thompson, Landry, Smith and Diaw.
(02/22 16:40 PM) JENJONLOVE, ATLANTA - HEY SERGIO, I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP YOU HAVE GIVEN ME ON MY LINEUPS. THIS WEEK I NEED YOUR HELP ON WHO TO START AT PG......BRANDON JENNINGS (5 GAMES) OR RUSSELL WESTBROOK (4 GAMES). ALSO, PLEASE HELP ME WITH EITHER DELFINO (5 GAMES) OR JEFF GREEN (4 GAMES). YOUR HELP IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED.
 | (02/22 16:42 PM) You HAVE to go with your Bucks this week. If it's a toss-up between a Milwaukee player and somebody else this week, you have to take the five games.
(02/22 16:42 PM) xohsxc, SanDigo - Noah or Dalembert in week 18
 | (02/22 16:42 PM) I don't like Dalembert, really, but Noah is not guaranteed to play full minutes this week. He could also be shut down if there is any setback with his plantar fasciitis.
(02/22 16:43 PM) r2d2, tatooine - my boy CP30 wants to know if MMiller JThompson and McGee worth hanging on to in a 10 team H2H league? we're heading into the home stretch and it seems the force is waning with these boys. we need a young up and coming jedi master!
 | (02/22 16:43 PM) Thompson is, absolutely. Miller and McGee are interchangeable.
(02/22 16:43 PM) John Anthony, Punxsy,PA. - Hey Sergio once again thanks for all your help. Okay in N.Y who is the guy to own Rodriquez or House. And man SAC. players are going to be a headache for a while. So who do you see emerging out of Beno,Garcia and D.Green as the guy to pick up. And the Clips should i pick up Outlaw and will Blake play over Butler. Thanks a Ton.
 | (02/22 16:46 PM) Rodriguez, for sure. He has much higher upside and could eventually supplant Duhon as the starter there. I like Garcia's upside a little more out of those three players. He has the most diverse skill set of the players. Greene may have the highest upside, but like you said it will be a headache until somebody emerges.
(02/22 16:47 PM) The Waiver, CBS.COM - Hey there Serg!!
Who do you see being the most productive going forward? Position dont matter, I need production. Im in a roto league so I need a stat filler or some consistency.. Who do you like?
R. Lopez, Corey Brewer, Garcia, Greene, Hibbert, Rodriguez, Battier, R. Butler, McGee, B. Miller, G. Hill, Yi or Dunleavy?
Thanks dude
 | (02/22 16:48 PM) Brewer has been hot and cold, but when he has been hot he has been a category-based league stud. After a brief cold spell in early February he is back to being a very well-rounded Fantasy option.
(02/22 16:48 PM) The NET, Fresno, Ca. - Evans, Stuckey. or Salmons this week Key categories...FG% FT% Reb Ast.
 | (02/22 16:49 PM) Salmons is my Start of the Week! Gotta love the Bucks this week, regardless of format.
(02/22 16:49 PM) David, Charlotte - How are you sergio? You never answer my lineup questions Please help me out this week!!!! I need two out of these 4 in an average points league. Caron Butler, Vince Carter, Brandon Jennings, McGrady, Okafor? thanks for the hlep big playoff push ahead of me!!
 | (02/22 16:50 PM) Hey David, sorry if I never got to your question before! Again, go with your Bucks, so go with Jennings. I would start Butler alongside him. McGrady and Carter are promising, but I like Butler and Jennings a little more this week based on their matchups. Carter has been a little inconsistent and McGrady could be a little winded after his long absence and may not be able to match the stat line he had in his first game.
(02/22 16:50 PM) Mark, Philly - With the news about Allen Iverson leaving the team again would you start Sweet Lou over Kevin Martin?
 | (02/22 16:51 PM) I like the possibility of Lou regaining a lot of his lost Fantasy appeal, but no, I would not start him over Kevin Martin.
(02/22 16:51 PM) Chris, chgo - Should I start D. Wade this week? Any chance of him playing this week?
 | (02/22 16:52 PM) I would not. He is probably out at least another couple of games.
(02/22 16:52 PM) Bob, DC - Should I drop Biedrins to pick up C.J. Watson or George Hill?
(my other centers are Amare, B. Lopez, R. Lopez)
 | (02/22 16:54 PM) You have depth at center. So yes. There may be better options off the waiver wire, though. As far as cutting Biedrins, I think you can do that in your position
(02/22 16:55 PM) smarticus, slc, ut - Start Rasual Butler with his 4 games over the ailing Nash?
 | (02/22 16:56 PM) Yes. I would. Unless you are in an average-based league, I suggest sitting Nahs.
 | (02/22 16:56 PM) Nash*
(02/22 16:56 PM) LakerDent, Anaheim, CA - Should I pick up John Salmons in my H2H category league? I would have to drop Thad Young OR Jeff Green. It worth it?
 | (02/22 16:57 PM) Absolutely. Especially for this week. I think Salmons was one of the bigger winners at the trade deadline and could post numbers similar to what he put up last year in his best season (around 18 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists).
(02/22 16:57 PM) Ben, NY - Trade Josh Howard and Lou Will for Ginobili?
 | (02/22 16:58 PM) No. I would rather have Josh Howard and Lou Will, especially after the Iverson news today.
(02/22 16:58 PM) Jason from twitter, NYc - Sergio Rodriguez, Artest or Delfino over a short week Granger?
 | (02/22 16:59 PM) I like Rodriguez, but that may have to wait for another week or two while he settles in. I like Delfino because of the five games if you are in a cumulative league and I think Artest is starting to come together offensively. He is averaging around 14-4-4 over his last five games.
(02/22 16:59 PM) Mark, Washington - Would you start McGee over Nene this week?
 | (02/22 16:59 PM) No, definitely still starting Nene this week.
(02/22 17:00 PM) DJ, Irvine, CA - Hey, Sergio. Thanks for all the great tips! Is Ilyasova worth a start this week with the 5 games. I know he is not consistent. But could he possibly have better stats than Brook Lopez or Tim Duncan? roto 12 team weekly 7 cat league Thanks!
 | (02/22 17:01 PM) Alright, I know I've been saying start your Bucks this week. But I mean that within reason. Don't go sitting players like Brook Lopez or Tim Duncan for the likes of inconsistent players like Ilyasova just for the extra game.
(02/22 17:01 PM) Sammyboy, Newark, nj - who do you think i should play this week marcus thornton or mo williams. and should i drop thornton for sergio rodriguez?
 | (02/22 17:03 PM) Mo Williams has been very poor in the games since the Jamison trade and I'm afraid that could continue. Thornton is back on a little bit of a role after a slow return from his injury.
 | (02/22 17:03 PM) Alright, everyone. That's all we have time for this week.
 | (02/22 17:04 PM) Thanks for joining us, as always.
 | (02/22 17:04 PM) Good luck this week!
