Mr. Hurcomb, better known in journalism circles and to his friends and family as "The Hurc," is the greatest product to come out of the University of Florida since Gatorade.

After beginning his life journey in Monroe, Conn., as the third of four children, in 1984, the Hurcomb family packed their bags and headed south to Fort Myers, Fla., in 1991 -- where there was plenty of sun and women for Hurc to begin his journey into manhood.

After spending four glorious years at UF (mostly during the Ron Zook era, yeah!), Hurc found his way to CBSSports.com's Fantasy department in September 2006. Before landing there, he spent three years covering UF football and recruiting for Gator Bait magazine in Gainesville.

An elbow injury forced Hurc off the baseball diamond and into the newsroom prior to high school, but he feels being able to cover sports is no consolation, it is an honor.
