Rangers SP Yovani Gallardo receives no-decision in Tuesday's win

(2:01 am ET) Rangers pitcher Yovani Gallardo was unable to record a win for himself, but the Rangers were able to pull off an 8-6 win over the Padres on Tuesday.

Gallardo allowed four runs on six hits over five innings. He also struck out two and walked one while taking a no-decision. Gallardo has not lost in his last eight outings.


Padres SP Andrew Cashner takes no-decision in Tuesday's loss

(1:58 am ET) Padres pitcher Andrew Cashner was not able to earn a quality start or a win during Tuesday's 8-6 loss to the Rangers.

Cashner allowed four runs on eight hits over five innings of work. He also struck out four and did not walk a batter. He is winless in seven of his last eight starts.


Padres OF Matt Kemp collects four RBI in Tuesday's loss

(1:55 am ET) Padres outfielder Matt Kemp drove in four runs during Tuesday's game against the Rangers, but it was not enough as the Padres lost 8-6.

Kemp used three hits over four at-bats to drive in the runs. He also scored a run. Prior to Tuesday's game, Kemp was hitting .333 with four home runs and 18 RBI in his last 14 games.


Padres RP Shawn Kelley exits Tuesday's game with injury

(1:35 am ET) Padres pitcher Shawn Kelley had to leave Tuesday's game after suffering an apparent arm injury, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Kelley did not record an out after allowing two hits and three runs during the appearance.

Angels SP Matt Showmaker receives win in Tuesday's start

(1:24 am ET) Angels pitcher Matt Shoemaker was solid throughout his start Tuesday against the A's, which the Angels won 6-2.

Shoemaker allowed one run on five hits over seven innings. He also struck out five and walked two. His lone mistake was giving up a solo home run to Brett Lawrie in the first inning.

Showmaker has given up a total of one run over his last two outings. 


A's pitcher Cody Martin struggles in Tuesday's loss

(1:20 am ET) Athletics pitcher Cody Martin was not sharp during Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Angels. Martin only lasted three innings after surrendering five runs on six hits.

He did not strike out a batter and walked one. He is now 2-4 with a 6.57 ERA. Tuesday was his first start of the season.


Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen picks up save Tuesday

(1:15 am ET) Dodgers pitcher Kenley Jansen tossed a perfect ninth inning to earn his 28th save of the season during Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Giants. Jansen has converted 28 of his 30 save chances this season.

Giants SP Madison Bumgarner fails to win pitching duel Tuesday

(1:12 am ET) Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner produced another quality outing during Tuesday's start against the Dodgers, but the Giants lost 2-1.

Bumgarner allowed two runs on eight hits over seven innings of work. He also struck out eight and walked one. One of his mistakes was giving up a solo home run to Joc Pederson in the seventh inning.

He is now 16-7 with a 2.96 ERA. Bumgarner is 5-1 in his last eight starts.


Dodgers SP Zack Greinke improves to 15-3

(1:09 am ET) Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke continued his masterful season during Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Giants.

Greinke surrendered one run on five hits over 7 1/3 innings. He also struck out five and walked one. Greinke received his 15th win of the season for his effort.

He is 10-1 over his last 12 outings.


Brandon Moss slams walk-off dinger to lead Cardinals to win

(1:05 am ET) Cardinals newcomer Brandon Moss is finally starting to show why they traded for him. His three-run homer in the ninth to beat Washington was the latest and greatest example.

Moss tatered to center with two on and two out. He has four home runs in his last six games and is on a six-game hitting streak. He was batting just .167 (8-for-48) for St. Lous previously.
