Tigers' Jose Iglesias out of lineup, but MRI clear

(1:15 pm ET) Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game with a sore knee. An MRI and X-ray showed no structural damage, and he's considered day-to-day, per MLive.

Andrew Romine replaces Iglesias at short.

The Tigers also gave catcher James McCann a rest. starting Bryan Holaday behind the plate.

J.D. Martinez moves to DH, replaced in right by Rajai Davis


Jose Altuve out of Astros' lineup for first time this year

(1:07 pm ET) Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is out of the starting lineup for the first time this season, after 44 starts. 

Altuve snapped a string of 88 straight starts, dating back to last season. He's replaced by Marwin Gonzalez, who moves over from shortstop. 

Jonathan Villar replaces Gonzalez at short. 


Avisail Garcia returns to White Sox lineup

(1:04 pm ET) White Sox right fielder Avisail Garcia will return to the lineup on Sunday. 

Garcia is batting fifth in the order and returns after two games with a sore knee. 

The White Sox also flipped positions of Jose Abreu and Adam LaRoche for the game. Abreu will play DH for the sixth time this year, while LaRoche plays first for the seventh time.


Collin Cowgill a late scratch from Angels' lineup

(12:54 pm ET) Angels left fielder Collin Cowgill was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup. He was replaced by Matt Joyce

Cowgill has been bothered by a sore back and was unable to complete pregame batting practice, per MLB.com.

Also, with a lefthander facing the Angels, second baseman Johnny Giavotella is out of the lineup for just the fourth time this season. He's replaced by Taylor Featherston.


Orioles rest outfielders Delmon Young, Travis Snider

(12:49 pm ET) The Orioles rested two starting outfielders on Sunday. 

Left fielder Travis Snider is out of the starting lineup, replaced by David Lough.

Lough will bat second and play left for the seventh time this year.

In right field, Delmon Young is out of the lineup, replaced by Alejandro De Aza. It's De Aza's eighth start, and he'll bat eighth in the lineup. 


J.J. Hardy, Caleb Joseph out of Orioles lineup on Sunday

(12:47 pm ET) Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy is out of the starting lineup on Sunday, ending a string of 15 straight starts at the position. He's replaced by Everth Cabrera, who returns to the lineup for the Orioles for the first time since May 6.

Caleb Joseph also gets a rest, replaced at catcher by Ryan Lavarnway for the eighth time this year. 


Jose Tabata replaces Gregory Polanco in right for Pirates

(12:43 pm ET) Jose Tabata gets his first start of the season for the Pirates, playing right field and batting second in Sunday's game.

Tabata was called up from the minor leagues on Tuesday. He replaces Gregory Polanco in the lineup. 


Pedro Alvarez, Neil Walker out of Pirates' lineup

(12:40 pm ET) First baseman Pedro Alvarez and second baseman Neil Walker are both out of the Pirates' Sunday lineup. 

Alvarez is replaced by Sean Rodriguez, who gets his second start of the year at first base. Rodriguez will hit sixth.

Walker's absence requires shifts at all other infield positions. Josh Harrison moves over from third place to replace Walker at second. Jung Ho Kang moves to third from shortstop, and Jordy Mercer returns to the lineup at short, for just the second time in eight games. 


Clint Robinson, Jose Lobaton in Nationals' lineup

(12:35 pm ET) Clint Robinson gets a start in left field for the Nationals on Sunday. Robinson will bat sixth and play left for the sixth time this season. 

Jose Lobaton also gets a Sunday start, replacing Wilson Ramos at catcher for the tenth time. He'll bat seventh.


Brewers' Jean Segura expected to be back this Friday

(12:32 pm ET) Brewers shortstop Jean Segura is expected to be activated from the disabled list by this Friday's game against the Diamondbacks, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. 

Segura, who has a broken finger, has an MRI scheduled for Monday to determine whether his injury has healed or not. The expectation is that he'll be good to go. It hasn't been decided whether Segura will have a brief minor-league rehab assignment or not

In 34 games, Segura is slashing .262/.306/.373.
