The Mariners' Kenji Johjima also had back-to-back multi homer games in 2006.

(10:41 pm ET) Starter Ubaldo Jimenez picked up his eight win of the season, as the Orioles downed the Braves 7-3 on Tuesday. Jimenez allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings. He walked three and struck out three, throwing 62 of his 106 pitches for strikes.

Jimenez (8-6) lowered his ERA to 3.73 with the fine outing. He allowed a first-inning two-run home run to Freddie Freeman for his only mistake of the evening. After that, he was strong, retiring 10 of the final 11 batters he faced.

This was a nice comeback for Jimenez, who had allowed 14 runs in seven innings over his previous two starts.

Braves SP Julio Teheran continues to struggle on the road
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(10:34 pm ET) The road struggles continued for Braves starter Julio Teheran on Tuesday. The right-hander allowed five runs on five hits over four innings in a 7-3 loss to the Orioles. Teheran walked four and struck out four, needing 92 pitches (52 strikes) to get through the fourth.

Teheran (6-6, 4.71 ERA) was given a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. But he coughed up the lead in the bottom half, allowing a three-run home run to Chris Davis. Teheran was stung by Davis again in the second, this time with a two-run shot.

Teheran has been dreadful on the road this year, going 1-5 with a 7.28 ERA in 11 starts away from Turner Field.

"I don't know if it's mental, but the numbers sure show it. We've got to get through it", manager Fredi Gonzalez said on Teheran's road woes, per the Braves Radio Net.

Overall, Teheran is 3-4 with a 4.01 ERA over his past seven starts.

Red Sox SP Wade Miley takes step back in 9-4 loss Tuesday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(10:24 pm ET) After a pair of encouraging outings, Red Sox starter Wade Miley has reverted back to the struggling pitcher we saw earlier this month. On Tuesday, Miley allowed seven runs on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings to the White Sox. He walked three and struck out five in the 9-4 loss.

Miley (8-9) got off to a rough start in this one, allowing five runs in the top of the first inning. He managed to settle in over the next four innings, but then allowed a two-run home run to Jose Abreu in the sixth inning.

Miley had given up a total of one run in 13 innings over his previous two starts. In three starts prior to that, he had allowed 13 runs over 17 innings. Overall, he is 2-4 with a 5.31 ERA in six starts this month.
