David DeJesus succeeding in platoon role
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11:11 am ET) Cubs outfielder David DeJesus hasn't been playing against lefties, but that might be for the best.

DeJesus has been a much better hitters against righties over his career. In 3,157 at-bats, DeJesus has a .293/.368/.453 against right-handers. DeJesus has continued that success this year, and is hitting .314/.382/.559 in 118 at-bats against righties this year.

While a platoon role isn't ideal for Fantasy owners, DeJesus is in the better half of a platoon situation. He should see a fair amount of playing time against right-handers, and that should keep him in the lineup fairly often.

Johnny Cueto may alter his mechanics
by Nando Di Fino | Senior Fantasy Writer
(10:55 am ET) Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto may alter his mechanics when he returns from the disabled list, according to Cincinnati.com.

Cueto believes his delivery might be the reason for his recent oblique injuries. Cueto, who has a similar motion to Dodgers' great Fernando Valenzuela, said he would stop rotating as much if the injuries continue. Cueto's delivery requires so much rotation that he often completely turns his back to the hitter. He is slated to start against the Mets Monday.

Yoenis Cespedes homers, ends multi-hit skid
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com

Cespedes entered Sunday mired in a 7-for-49 slump in his last 13 games. He did have three home runs and five RBI in that span.
