Didi Gregorius managed three hits for the second straight game Monday at Colorado. He also had a double for a second straight game and added two RBI.
Gregorius has hit safely in seven of his last eight games. He's batting .387 (12 for 31) with one triple, three doubles and five RBI in that span.
The rookie shortstop has totaled 10 multi-hit games in 22 appearances and has failed to record a hit just four times this season.
Eric Chavez hitting well over .400 in May

Eric Chavez recorded multiple hits for the fourth time in six games and the sixth time in May Monday at Colorado. He finished 3 for 5 with one run, one triple and one RBI.
Chavez is batting .571 (12 for 21) in his last six games, sending his average skyrocketing from .282 to .343. He's batting .467 (21 for 45) in 14 May games (11 starts), while adding one home run, one triple, six doubles and 10 RBI in that span. Chavez came into May batting .241.
A.J. Pollock's slump spanning a few weeks

A.J. Pollock tied a season-high with three hits Monday at Colorado. It was the fourth time this season he accomplished the feat.
Pollock, who scored twice Monday, entered the game mired in a 2-for-23 slump in his previous seven games. Since hitting his last home run May 4, Pollock is batting .204 (10 for 49) with two RBI, two walks, four runs, four doubles and 12 strikeouts in his last 14 games (12 starts).
Andre Ethier ends HR drought at 20 games

Andre Ethier ended his home run drought at 20 games Monday against the Brewers with a solo home run off Yovani Gallardo in the fourth inning. Ethier finished 2 for 4 with one triple.
Ethier is batting .308 (16 for 52) in his last 16 games, raising his season average from .237 to .262. He has one triple, two doubles, five runs, six walks and six RBI in that span.
Domonic Brown parks fifth May home run

Domonic Brown provided his team's only offense during Monday's 5-1 loss to the Marlins with a solo home run off Alex Sanabia in the second inning. It was Brown's eighth home run and fifth in May.
Brown also had his seventh multi-hit game in May Monday. He's batting .271 (19 for 70) with a .514 slugging percentage, two doubles, two stolen bases, eight runs and 10 RBI in 18 May games (17 starts).
Jose Iglesias playing third for first time

Iglesias has been taking practice around the diamond, and will get a chance to show whether he can handle the position in a game. Iglesias has hit well in a small sample of games in the majors this season. Through 20 at-bats, he has hit .450/.476/.550.
Marlon Byrd belts third May home run

Marlon Byrd provided all of his team's offense in a 4-3 loss Monday against the Reds with a three-run home run off Johnny Cueto in the third inning. It was Byrd's fourth home run and third in May.
Byrd is batting .343 (12 for 35) with a .657 slugging percentage, 1.026 OPS, two doubles, five runs and nine RBI in 12 May games (nine starts).
