Dan Haren solid in no-decision
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(1:56 am ET) Dodgers starting pitcher Dan Haren tossed the ball well yet again Thursday against the Phillies, but got little help as he settled for a no-decision in a 7-3 loss.

Haren had little trouble with the Phillies in this outing, as he ran into issues during just one inning. Unfortunately, that was enough, as the Phillies scored three times in the fifth, though only one run was charged to him in that frame.

Haren was charged with just the one earned run in six innings of work, while scattering seven hits and a pair of walks. He struck out a season-high seven, while throwing 71 of 106 pitches for strikes in the no-decision.

Haren is off to a terrific start with the Dodgers, with four quality starts in five trips to the mound. He is 3-0 with a 2.03 ERA entering his next start, set for Wednesday in Minnesota.

Dogers leave options open for Clayton Kershaw
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(1:49 am ET) Dodgers manager Don Mattingly told reporters Wednesday Clayton Kershaw would need two rehab starts before he considers bringing him back into the rotation.

Still, Mattingly would not confirm his rotation for next week's series against the Twins when talking to MLB.com Thursday, appearing to leave the possibility open for an earlier-than-expected return for Kershaw. Kershaw will likely be evaluated after his start for Class A Rancho Cucamonga, which is expected to have a 65-pitch limit.

Kershaw has been out since the season opener with a back injury, and will make his rehab debut Friday, leaving him on schedule to pitch again Wednesday.
