David Lough moved to leadoff spot
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11:01 pm ET) Royals manager Ned Yost reshuffled the batting order, placing outfielder David Lough at the leadoff spot Sunday against the A's.

Lough, who was recalled Friday, finished 0 for 4 in a 4-3 defeat.

"I've done it in previous years, coming up through the system," Lough told MLB.com. "I don't mind it at all. You get a lot more ABs, people watch you a little bit more, being the leadoff guy. They take away the bunt, they pick over more, being the speed-type guy in the leadoff position. I think they worry about you a little more. Which I like -- I like to make teams worry about me."

Francisco Cervelli ready to meet with docs
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(10:42 pm ET) Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli has a doctor’s appointment this week to see if he can get the pins removed from his hand, according to The Star Ledger. Cervelli hopes to resume baseball activities in mid-June.

"I don't think I'm going to need that much [rehab time], because I've been working a lot," Cervelli said. "It depends on my hand. I've got to get stronger again, my upper body. But the good thing is my brain never stops. I never rest. I'm ready, I can't wait to come back."
