Chris Stewart not ready to start Monday
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(3:33 pm ET) Yankees catcher

Justin Ruggiano primed for a rebound
by Al Melchior | Data Analyst
(3:30 pm ET) After going a week without a base hit,
Justin Ruggiano earned the wrath of Fantasy owners and became one of the most dropped outfielders on CBSSports.com. His ownership rate has fallen from 39 to 32 percent, but that just provides an opportunity for owners to get a potentially productive outfielder on the cheap.
Ruggiano is doing almost everything he did in last year's breakout season. He is hitting home runs slightly ahead of last season's pace and is producing runs at roughly the same clip, even though the Marlins have the lowest-scoring offense in the majors. Even Ruggiano's five steals don't put him far off his 2012 course.
The big difference is Ruggiano's batting average on ground balls. Last season, he hit .364 on grounders, which he was going to be difficult to repeat, but he's overdone the regression with a .140 ground ball batting averge this year. Ruggiano will eventually find the happy medium and produce enough to be relevant in 14-team mixed leagues and deeper formats.

Ike Davis dropped to sixth against righty
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(3:26 pm ET) Mets first baseman
Ike Davis has been dropped to sixth in the order Monday against Reds right-hander Johnny Cueto.
Davis has been in a season-long slump and is hitting .156/.238/.259 in 135 at-bats. Davis had been hitting high in the order against righties but was demoted to seventh against lefties. Cueto is a tough matchup for good left-handed hitters, so it will be challenging for Davis to break out of his slump.
