"They told me Tex saw 40 to 45 pitches in four ABs," manager Joe Girardi said of the at-bats in the simulated games being longer than normal at-bats. "I don't imagine that's (a real game). I don't know how you do that."

Who else would it be? Paul Maholm? If his slide continues, his numbers could end up looking worse than Teheran's. But he doesn't have any bullpen experience, and it's not like he's going to the minors. By the time Beachy gets here, the Braves may prefer to move Teheran to the bullpen strictly to limit his innings.
I'm not saying you should drop Teheran in anticipation of Beachy's return. Someone else could go down between now and then, ending the dilemma. But you should prepare for life without him in Fantasy. My guess is it's rapidly approaching.

Manager Joe Girardi said he expects Chamberlain to make at least two rehab outings. He won't be off the DL until at least next week.
"I don't know if it will be the weekend," Girardi said. "I think he'll probably do two turns, then we'll evaluate and make sure he's doing OK."

It's not about what Profar can do for you right now. It's about what he could do for you if he ends up sticking around in the majors. And frankly, if he hasn't bumped Leury Garcia out of the picture by the time Kinsler returns, he's not sticking around.
That said, even with Garcia in the mix, I think Profar will get enough at-bats to factor in the short term.

But not too surprising. With Miguel Montero, Jonathan Lucroy and Ryan Doumit struggling out of the gate, Jesus Montero getting fewer at-bats than anyone anticipated, and Carlos Ruiz back out of the lineup, what once was a deep position is suddenly quite thin.
Depending on your format, of course. Few Fantasy owners would start a catcher at utility, so it's possible only 10 or 12 are owned in your league. But any more than that, and you might have to resort to the Tyler Flowers-John Jaso-Jason Castro class in place of the Royals catcher. Pick your poison.
Personally, I'd just go with the hot hand.

Molina has missed the last two games with his hamstring injury and has been replaced by Jose Lobaton behind the plate. Molina is hitting .221/.265/.325 in 77 at-bats.

Just like that, his numbers have corrected themselves. In fact, they might even be due for a correction the other way. Having surrendered seven home runs in his last three starts, he's on pace to give up 51 this season. Granted, he's no stranger to the long ball, but that's just ridiculous.
Taking the good with the bad, if you like what the Royals right-hander has delivered to date, you should stick with him in Fantasy. He has more good starts ahead, just like he has more bad starts ahead.
