Giants-Rockies postponed Sunday due to rain
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:53 pm ET) Sunday's scheduled game between the Giants and Rockies has been postponed due to rain, the Denver Post reports.

The series finale between the two teams was scheduled to feature a matchup between righty Tim Lincecum and lefty Tyler Matzek, but both starters could have their starts pushed back one day as their respective teams each open a series on the road. Makeup details for Sunday's postponement have yet to be announced.

Jake Marisnick returns to Astros' lineup
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

The Astros are +140 money line underdogs at Oakland.

Mets' Juan Lagares racks up four hits, three runs Saturday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:48 pm ET) Mets center fielder Juan Lagares went 4 for 4 with a triple, an RBI and three runs scored in his team's 8-2 win over the Yankees Saturday.

"It's a great feeling," Lagares said after the game, per MLB.com. "It's one of those days when you feel good out there and make good swings."

The four hits matched a career high for Lagares, who indicated he focused on plate discipline during Saturday's game.

"I just try to do too much sometimes," Lagares said. "When I swing at strikes, I get good results. That's it."

Though the Mets moved Lagares to seventh in the batting order after four games batting second, they still see him as a future leadoff man.

"I don't necessarily think Juan is an RBI guy," manager Terry Collins said. "I think when he starts to have good at-bats, he's a top-of-the-order guy, which we hope to get him back in that spot."

Lagares has hit .296/.311/.338 with eight RBI, 10 runs scored and one stolen base in 71 at-bats.

Dodgers' Yasiel Puig (hamstring) out of lineup Sunday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:40 pm ET) Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Padres in San Diego.

Puig came out of Friday's game after reinjuring his hamstring and was out of the lineup Saturday as well. Manager Don Mattingly indicated Saturday that there have been discussions about putting the outfielder on the disabled list to allow the hamstring ample time to heal. Puig has hit .279/.380/.465 with two home runs and four RBI in 43 at-bats.

The Dodgers are underdogs (+105) in San Diego Sunday.

Craig Gentry starts in place of Mark Canha for Athletics
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(1:37 pm ET) Athletics left fielder Mark Canha is out of the lineup for the second straight game on Sunday. Craig Gentry gets his first start of the season in left in Canha's place.

Gentry has had five starts in center and two in right.

The A's are -150 money line favorites at home against Houston.

Rockies' Corey Dickerson (quad) out of lineup Sunday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:36 pm ET) Rockies left fielder Corey Dickerson is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Dickerson came out of Saturday's game after fouling a ball off his left quad. He has also dealt with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. With Dickerson out, center fielder Charlie Blackmon will shift to left field and Drew Stubbs will bat seventh and play center field.

The Rockies are favorites (-122) against the Giants Sunday.

Albert Pujols to DH for Angels on Sunday
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(1:32 pm ET) The Angels flip-flopped positions for two regulars on Sunday. Albert Pujols, who has started at first base in 17 of the team's 18 games, will play designated hitter.

C.J. Cron, who has 13 starts at DH, will play first base.

The Angels are -144 favorites at home against Texas.

Pirates' Andrew McCutchen hoping to break out of slump
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(1:15 pm ET) Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen is in the midst of a 0-15 slump in the past five games he's played in. McCutchen's batting average is down to .175 while striking out five times in this span.

"That's baseball … it's a game of adjustments," McCutchen said, via MLB.com. "I'll get there, it's a matter of time," McCutchen said. "I'm not focused on the outcome, just on the feeling. And I'm feeling good, so the outcome will be there. Long as I feel good, I'll get good results."

McCutchen and the Pirates take on the Diamondbacks Sunday at 4:10 p.m.

Athletics call up Ryan Cook, send down Kendall Graveman
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(1:08 pm ET) The Athletics made two roster moves on Sunday.

The A's recalled RHP Ryan Cook from Triple-A Nashville. Cook was 2-0 with a save in five scoreless appearances in Nashville.

Cook replaces Kendall Graveman, who was optioned to Nashville. Graveman was 1-2 with an 8.27 ERA in four starts for the A's.

Brewers' Scooter Gennett (hand) taking swings Sunday
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(1:08 pm ET) Brewers infielder Scooter Gennett will take some swings with a bat on Sunday, according to FOX Sports Wisconsin.

Gennett suffered a left hand laceration in an accident while showering. The injury required stitches. He's expected to have his stitches removed this week. On the 15-day disabled list, Gennett is expected to return to the team the moment he's eligible to.
