by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(4:09 pm ET) Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista was in the starting lineup as the designated hitter for the eighth consecutive game on Monday, the team announced. Bautista is still battling a sore shoulder that has been nagging him for the last couple of weeks.

General Manager Alex Anthopoulos indicated that Bautista is still sore and the team will check his status at the end of the three-game series against the Yankees. Bautista sat out five games earlier this season due to the shoulder injury. Since returning to the lineup, he is hitting .333 (8 for 24) with a home run and seven RBI.

Rosario is not off to a great start offensively at Triple-A Rochester, however, it appears the Twins need outfield depth as Oswaldo Arcia and Jordan Schafer are dealing with injuries.

The 23-year-old Rosario is batting .242 with one triple, two doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI in 23 games.
