by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(3:15 pm ET) Paulo Orlando is in the Royals starting lineup in right field for the eighth straight game.

With Alex Rios on the disabled list, Orlando appears to have beaten out Jarrod Dyson for the starting job. Orlando has started 22 of the 33 games since Rios went down.

Mariners include Mike Zunino, Welington Castillo in Friday's lineup
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3:10 pm ET) The Mariners are starting both of their catchers Friday night against Toronto. Manager Lloyd McClendon gave Mike Zunino the nod behind the plate. He will hit ninth in the order.

Newly-acquired catcher Welington Castillo will make his second start of the season -- this time as a designated hitter. He remains in the sixth-hole.

Seattle is favored (-149) against Marco Estrada and the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, per VegasInsider.com.

Nationals' Clint Robinson makes the start in left field Friday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(3:06 pm ET) Nationals left fielder Clint Robinson is making his first start since April 23. Robinson is in the starting lineup Friday against the Phillies, batting seventh.

With regular left fielder Jayson Werth on the disabled list, Michael Taylor and Tyler Moore have been splitting most of the time in the outfield. But they will be on the bench as Robinson will draw the start Friday. He's had just nine at-bats this month, with his only hit going for an RBI double which came in his last appearance as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday.

Nationals activate Casey Janssen, place Sammy Solis on DL
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(3:04 pm ET) The Nationals activated pitcher Casey Janssen from the 15-day disabled list, per Nationals.com

Janssen has been out all season with shoulder inflammation. He made six minor league rehab appearances in Class A and Double-A.

The team also placed LHP Sammy Solis on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 18. Solis is suffering from shoulder inflammation. He is 1-0 with a 5.00 ERA this season.

Athletics SS Marcus Semien gets a breather Friday
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3:03 pm ET) Athletics shortstop Marcus Semien was given the night off on Friday against Tampa Bay, after an 0-for-4 performance that put an end to an eight-game hitting streak the previous day. With Semien out of the lineup, manager Bob Melvin gave newcomer Andy Parrino the start at shortstop.

Semien is hitting .338 (26 for 77) with three doubles, two triples, three homers and three RBI over his last 19 games played.

Seattle is an underdog (+126) at Tropicana Field, per VegasInsider.com.

Dodgers RF Yasiel Puig (hamstring) feeling better in rehab
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(2:45 pm ET) Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig, who is currently working on a rehab assignment while recovering from a hamstring injury, is said to be feeling much better, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.

Previous reports indicated Puig had suffered a minor setback in his recovery, but it looks like he could be on the verge of returning to the Dodgers' lineup, though the team has not provided an offical update on his timetable.

Puig has one hit in seven at-bats during his rehab at High-A Rancho Cucamonga. The one hit was a solo home run.

Devin Mesoraco (hip) not in Reds' starting lineup at Cleveland
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2:32 pm ET) Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco was not included in the starting lineup for Friday's contest against Cleveland.

Mesoraco has been limited to DH duties because of left hip impingement he suffered in early April. He has appeared in the last two games, and only four games since April 11. He has been taking part in catching drills recently and should be cleared to catch a bullpen session over the weekend.

Mesoraco is hitting .178 (8 for 45) with a double, a triple and two RBI this season.

Cincinnati is an underdog (+145) at Cleveland, per VegasInsider.com.

Rays' Tim Beckham gets the start at second base on Friday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(2:28 pm ET) Rays infielder Tim Beckham is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the A's. Beckham, who is making his first start since Saturday, will play second base while batting eighth.

The former first-overall draft pick has struggled at the plate this season, and has just four hits in 30 at-bats this month. Logan Forsythe, the team's regular second baseman, will be the designated hitter on Friday.

Reds move Brandon Phillips to top of order over Zack Cozart
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2:25 pm ET) Red manager Bryan Price inserted second baseman Brandon Phillips into the leadoff spot for Friday's contest against the Indians. It's the first time since Sept. 25, 2014, he's at the top of the order.

Phillips bumped Zack Cozart to the No. 2 hole against right-hander Carlos Carrasco.

Phillips is hitting .357 (25 for 70) with two homers, 11 RBI and six walks over his last 19 games played. Cozart has just one hit over his last 16 at-bats.

Cincinnati is an underdog (+155) at Cleveland, per VegasInsider.com.

Blue Jays INF Munenori Kawasaki makes season debut on Friday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(2:24 pm ET) After just being recalled from Triple-A, Blue Jays infielder Munenori Kawasaki is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners. Kawasaki is playing second base and batting ninth in manager John Gibbons' lineup.

In 23 games at Buffalo this season, Kawasaki was batting .222 (16 for 72) with four doubles and four stolen bases. Steve Tolleson will get the day off Friday after starting five straight games.
