Report: Red Sox could be in the lead for Pablo Sandoval
    by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) The Red Sox may be in the lead for infielder Pablo Sandoval , according to the Boston Globe

The team is believed to have offered a five-year, $95 million deal to the 28-year-old. It was reported early in Sandoval's free agency that he was seeking a six-year contract, and it's unclear if any of his current offers contain an option for a sixth season. Sandoval hit .279/.324/.415 over 588 at-bats.

White Sox sign Adam LaRoche to two-year deal
    by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) The White Sox have signed first baseman Adam LaRoche to a two-year, $25 million deal, according to the USA Today. CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman has confirmed the move.

The 35-year-old LaRoche hit .259/.362/.455 over 494 at-bats with Washington last season. LaRoche will likely split time at first and serve as the designated hitter with his new club.

Dodgers' Matt Kemp drawing plenty of interest
    by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is drawing plenty of interest on the trade market, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.

The club is hesitant to deal Kemp, though a trade is possible. Kemp had an up-and-down season with Los Angeles in 2014. He started slowly after coming back from a leg injury, and was initially upset when moved out of center. Things turned in the second half, and Kemp finished with a .287/.346/.506 slash line. The Orioles, Mariners and Blue Jays could all have interest, according to Heyman.

    by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) Indians infielder Giovanny Urshela will not require surgery on his knee, according to MLB.com.

Urshela sprained his PCL, but the injury isn't as serious as expected. He should be ready to go for the start of 2015.

Report: Andrew Miller likely to receive four-year deal
    by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) Orioles reliever Andrew Miller is likely to receive a four-year deal, according to FoxSports.com.

Miller already has multiple offers for three years. That interest makes it "increasingly likely" he'll receive the four-year deal he was rumored to be looking for when free agency opened. Miller is coming off a season in which he posted a 2.02 ERA over 62 1/3 innings.
