by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com

Over his last four starts covering 25 innings, Sanchez has allowed 14 earned runs. He enters the All-Star break with a 3.04 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP over 16 starts (94 2/3 innings). His next scheduled start is still to be determined.

Jorge De La Rosa wins number 10 Friday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11:46 pm ET) Rockies pitcher Jorge De La Rosa turned in a strong performance against the Twins Friday.

De La Rosa allowed one run on six hits over six innings of work. He walked one and struck out three during the appearance. De La Rosa was tagged early. After giving up a leadoff double to start the second, De La Rosa moved the runner to third by throwing a wild pitch. A groundout brought that run in, cutting the lead to one run.

De La Rosa settled in after the second, going four scoreless innings. He allowed three hits over those last four innings. The win moves De La Rosa to 10-6 on the year. He’ll make his next start shortly after the All-Star break.

David Ortiz drives in three Friday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11:45 pm ET) Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz drove in three runs Friday against the Astros.

Ortiz only had one hit, but it was a big one. With the bases loaded in the sixth inning, Ortiz clubbed an 86 mph cutter to right for a bases-clearing double. He finished 1 for 5, with no runs scored and three RBI.

John Lackey picks up a win Friday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com

Despite the control issues, Lackey only gave up two runs. He went six innings, giving up four hits. Lackey issued five walks during the outing and struck out three. Lackey was cruising until the fourth, when he allowed an RBI single. After a scoreless fifth inning, Lackey gave up a solo home run to Chris Carter in the sixth.

Scott Feldman knocked around Friday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com

After tossing a scoreless fifth, Feldman imploded in the sixth inning. After loading the bases, Feldman allowed a two-run double to Christian Vasquez. Feldman was removed from the game at that point, but still had two runs tacked on to his line after David Ortiz cleared the bases with a double.

The loss dropped Feldman to 4-6 on the year. His next start should come shortly after the All-Star break.
