He will be followed in a three-game series vs. Colorado by Charlie Morton and Jeff Locke. Edinson Volquez will then open a series against the Dodgers on July 21, and he will be followed by Vance Worley before the rotation resets.

Matt Harvey coming to realization he won't pitch in 2014
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(10:46 am ET) Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey, who remains sidelined recovering from Tommy John surgery in October, appears resigned to the fact he won't pitch in 2014, according to the New York Post.

Harvey will head to his agent Scott Boras' training facility in Newport Beach, Calif., during the All-Star break for an unofficial checkup on his recovery. Boras said on Friday he believes the recovery timetable for Tommy John surgery is 14-16 months, and it appears Harvey is beginning to buy into the Mets' conservative approach to his recovery.

"That [time period] puts me to, what, December?” said Harvey, who added the process has been "very slowly slowing down a lot."

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10:44 am ET) White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez, who left Saturday's game with a stiff back, was not in Sunday's lineup at Cleveland. "I don't think it's going to be a major thing," Ramirez told the Chicago Sun-Times.

It's unclear if Ramirez, who admitted feeling a "spasm" before Saturday's game, will play in Tuesday's All-Star Game.
