by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer
(12:13 am ET) The Yankees bullpen has been outstanding all season but showed some weakness Monday as relievers Chris Martin and Dellin Betances allowed three runs on four hits in the eighth inning against the Blue Jays in an eventual loss, reports NJ.com.

"It's a lot of innings they've had to log," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said after the loss. "We've had a couple long stretches that are not helping."

Rays' Asdrubal Cabrera dropped in order Monday, nabs two hits
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:13 am ET) Rays shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera was dropped from third in the batting order to seventh Monday, and he responded by going 2 for 4 with one run in his team's 5-1 win over the Red Sox.

"We just decided kind of where he’s at, let’s drop him down, try to get him going, relax him a little bit," manager Kevin Cash said, per the Tampa Tribune. "There is some pressure there hitting in the three-spot. We’re all confident Cabby is going to help us out a lot this year. We just need to buy a little time with it now."

Cabrera was hitless in his previous 14 at-bats heading into Monday's game. He's hit .206/.260/.278 with eight RBI in 97 at-bats.
