D-Backs OF Yasmany Tomas goes yard in win over Dodgers

(1:46 am ET) Diamondbacks outfielder Yasmany Tomas hit his fourth home run of the season in Monday night's 10-6 win over the Dodgers. 

Tomas hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning for his only hit of the game. Tomas finished 1 for 4 and has now posted three hits over his past two games. Tomas now has a slash line of .314/.357/.440 this season. 


Dodgers OF Andre Ethier collects three hits in Monday's loss

(1:41 am ET) Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier went 3 for 5 at the plate during Monday's 10-6 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Ethier's biggest hit came in the fourth inning when he hit a solo home run off Allen Webster for his only RBI in the game. He also scored two runs and struck out once.

Prior to his three-hit game Monday, Ethier was hitting .091 with no extra-base hits or RBI in his last 12 games.


Diamondbacks P Allen Webster surrenders four runs in no-decision

(1:38 am ET) Diamondbacks pitcher Allen Webster allowed four earned runs in a no-decision during Monday evening's 10-6 win over the Dodgers. 

Webster only lasted 3 2/3 innings, gave up five hits, walked four batters and struck out three. This was Webster's fourth start of the season and also the fewest innings he was able to go. Webster now has an ERA of 7.11. 


Dodgers OF Joc Pederson hits 20th home run of season Monday

(1:37 am ET) Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson slugged his 20th home run of the season Monday, but it was not enough as the Dodgers lost 10-6 to the Diamondbacks.

Pederson hit the solo shot off Allen Webster in the fourth inning. It was his only hit in four at-bats during the contest. He also walked once and scored two runs.

Prior to Monday's loss, Pederson was hitting .105 with one double and one RBI in his last six games.


Yankees RP Andrew Miller to throw off mound Wednesday

(1:24 am ET) Yankees pitcher Andrew Miller is scheduled to throw off a mound Wednesday, reports the New York Daily News.

Miller is on the disabled list with a forearm injury. He has not pitched since June 9, but he has been able to throw from long distance.


A's 1B Ike Davis goes 2 for 4, hits homer in win

(1:17 am ET) Athletics first baseman Ike Davis hit his third home run of the season in Monday night's 7-1 win over the Rockies. 

Davis finished the game 2 for 4 and also hit his 12th double of the season. This was Davis' first two-hit game since May 7. He now has a slash line of .271/.331/.429. 


Angels' C.J. Cron hits second home run of season Monday

(1:11 am ET) Angels first baseman C.J. Cron connected off CC Sabathia in the seventh inning for his second home run of the season during Monday's 4-1 win over the Yankees.

The solo shot was his only hit in three at-bats during the contest. Cron was recalled Monday. Prior to the game, Cron was hitting .150 with no extra-base hits in his last nine games.


A's DH Billy Butler hits homer, collects three hits in win

(1:11 am ET) Athletics designated hitter Billy Butler crushed his sixth home run of the season in Monday night's 7-1 win over the Rockies. 

Butler hit his solo shot in the fourth inning. Butler finished the game 3 for 4 and also had an RBI double, giving him two RBI for the game. Butler's homer gives him two in his past 10 games. 

Butler now has a slash line of .254/.315/.366.


Rockies P David Hale tagged for 5 runs in loss

(1:06 am ET) Rockies pitcher David Hale allowed five earned runs in Monday evening's 7-1 loss to the Athletics. 

Hale went seven innings, gave up nine hits and struck out two batters. Hale was roughed up for four of those runs in the first inning. Three of the hits allowed went for home runs. This is the third consecutive start where Hale has surrendered five earned runs. 

Hale fell to 2-3 and now has an ERA of 5.95. 


Yankees' Brett Gardner collects three hits in Monday's loss

(1:04 am ET) Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner was the lone bright spot offensively for the Yankees during Monday's 4-1 loss to the Angels.

Gardner went 3 for 5 at the plate. Prior to his three-hit game Monday, Gardner was hitting .469 with four home runs and 11 RBI in his last 11 games. He is currently on a seven-game hitting streak.
