Nationals OF Bryce Harper's status still in doubt for Sunday
by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer
(7:42 pm ET) Bryce Harper, who missed Saturday's game due to back soreness from getting hit with a pitch on Friday, remains questionable for Sunday's series finale, per The Washington Post

Harper, who was drilled between the numbers with a fastball late in Friday's contest, underwent "lots of treatment," according to Nationals manager Matt Williams during Saturday's game but remains sore.

Harper owns a five-game hitting streak, during which he has two home runs to give him 18 on the season. He's hitting .328/.468/.733 so far this season.

Brewers' Kyle Lohse roughed up in second straight start
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(7:40 pm ET) Brewers pitcher Kyle Lohse had another rough start on Saturday, losing to the Diamondbacks.

Lohse gave up seven runs on 11 hits over 3 1/3 innings. In his last two starts, spanning 8 2/3 innings, he's allowed 17 hits and 12 runs.

Lohse didn't walk a batter, struck out two and gave up two home runs. He dropped to 3-6 on the season. Lohse's next start will be Friday, at Minnesota.

Angels 1B Albert Pujols dealing with groin injury, will DH
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(7:40 pm ET) Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is battling a groin injury that will keep him from playing the field, according to the Orange County Register.

Pujols will serve as the designated hitter on Saturday after tweaking his groin on Friday. Pujols is hitting .250 with 20 RBI in 176 at-bats this season.

Padres SP Brandon Morrow scheduled for rehab start on Tuesday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(7:39 pm ET) Padres starter Brandon Morrow, currently on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation, is expected to make his first minor-league rehab start on Tuesday. Morrow threw a bullpen session on Saturday and has been cleared to start for Double-A San Antonio, according to U-T San Diego.

Morrow has been sidelined since May 3. The team did not reveal how many rehab starts the right-hander will need before rejoining the rotation.

Brewers OF Khris Davis dealing with torn meniscus, needs surgery
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(7:37 pm ET) Brewers outfielder Khris Davis suffered a torn mensicus on Saturday that will require surgery, he told reporters after the game.

Davis left Saturday's game after taking an awkward swing in the first inning and was said to be dealing with knee soreness. It is unclear how long the injury will keep him out of action.

Diamondbacks' Jeremy Hellickson evens record at 3-3
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(7:35 pm ET) Diamondbacks starter Jeremy Hellickson earned the win on Saturday at Milwaukee, allowing two runs over six innings.

Hellickson evened his record at 3-3 and cut his ERA to 5.08. He allowed five hits, walked a batter and struck out three.

Hellickson's next start will be Thursday, against the Mets

Marlins RF Giancarlo Stanton slugs two home runs on Saturday
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(7:29 pm ET) Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton is officially the Mets' worst night mare. Stanton drilled two home runs on Saturday, as the Marlins won 9-5.

Stanton first launched a solo-shot off Jonathon Niese in the second inning to put the Fish up 3-1. Then, with the Marlins already up 7-5, Stanton added a two-run, 455-foot home run in the ninth inning.

Overall, Stanton went 2 for 4 with the two bombs, as his batting average now rests at .232 for the season.

Stanton now has 15 longballs this year, with five of them coming against the Mets.

Diamondbacks' Addison Reed makes adjustments, may return to closer
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(7:28 pm ET) Diamondbacks pitcher Addison Reed lost the closer's job after giving up a grand slam on May 13.

Since losing the job, Reed has worked with Diamondback coaches to fix flaws in his mechanics. Among the most noticeable adjustments, Reed got rid of his leg kick and instead uses a slide step.

"Everything feels good," Reed said, per MLB.com. "Each time I've gone out it's felt better every time. Now I'm not thinking about anything other than trying to throw strikes. Not thinking anything about mechanics, just going out there trying to throw strikes."

Manager Chip Hale is satisfied with what he's seen and indicated that Reed would get to pitch in save situations again in the near future.

SS Zack Cozart's double helps Reds rally to win
by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer
(7:27 pm ET) Shortstop Zack Cozart's lone hit of the day was a big one, as his eighth-inning double proved to be the difference as the Reds rallied to beat the Nationals 8-5 on Saturday.

Sitting on an 0-for-3 day, Cozart connected with two outs, driving a ball deep to center to help erase a 5-4 defict and spark a four-run eighth that propeled the Reds to their first back-to-back wins since May 12-14.

Cozart now has 21 RBIs on the year and is hitting .271.

Marlins SP Tom Koehler gets no-decision on Saturday vs. Mets
by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer
(7:24 pm ET) Marlins starter Tom Koehler struggled in a no-decision on Saturday, as the Marlins topped the Mets 9-5. Koehler was unable to get out of the fourth, as he went 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits. Koehler had trouble with his control, as he walked four and struck out just one. Just 39 of his 66 pitches went for strikes on the afternoon.

Most of the runs against him came as part of a four-run fourth inning. Koehler's ERA rose to 4.01 with the sub-par performance. He'll look to right the ship in his next start, scheduled for Friday in Coloardo.
