Rox not interested in Washburn: Rockies general manager Dan O’Dowd told the Denver Post that he is not pursuing free agent SP Jarrod Washburn. Even though SP Jeff Francis is on the 15-day disabled list due to soreness under his left armpit, the team is confident in his timely recovery. Fantasy Analysis
For a while, it appeared that Washburn might wind up with the Twins or Brewers, and more recently he had been linked with the Rockies. None of these organizations appears to be in a hurry to sign Washburn, so it may be some time before the lefty finds a home.
