| (4/7/10) Rockies general manager Dan O’Dowd told the Denver Post that he is not pursuing free agent SP Jarrod Washburn. Even though SP Jeff Francis is on the 15-day disabled list due to soreness under his left armpit, the team is confident in his timely recovery. They are also comfortable with Greg Smith as his current replacement in the rotation. |

| Washburn on Orioles' radar? |
| (2/12/10) The Orioles have some interest in free agent left-hander Jarrod Washburn, according to Fox Sports. Fox quotes a major league source as saying Baltimore is sniffing around, but Washburn's “price would have to drop pretty far” for him to end up with the O's. Washburn went 9-9 in 2010 between Detroit and Seattle with a 3.78 ERA in 28 starts. |
