Preseason Outlook

Escobar drives in 3 runs Sat. : Braves SS Yunel Escobar got the scoring started in what was an eventual 11-5 win over Washington on Saturday. Escobar hit a two-run single in the 1st inning for the Braves. He added an RBI double in the 9th inning and finished 2 for 5 with three RBI. He also scored twice and is batting .299 on the year.

Escobar entered Saturday's game hitting just .246 in September but already has more RBI this month (10) than in 97 at bats in August (6). Escobar has struggled with injuries at times this year, but he has played well enough to start in all Fantasy leagues when healthy, offering a .300 batting average with respectable run production. He'll probably never be elite, but you can win with him as your starter.
