Injury Report
Rib - Questionable for May 22 at N.Y. Yankees (Updated - 5/21/12)
Fantasy Analysis
Getz went 1 for 2 before leaving on Monday and is now batting .277 on the year. He might need to miss a few games again as he does not appear to be fully recovered so keep an eye on his progress going forward. Getz has seen some decent playing time this season but remains more of a low-end option in AL-only formats, when healthy. (Updated 05/21/2012).

05/13/2012 20:18 Hit Parade for Week 7
As interleague play gets under way there are many matchups to break down. Our Scott White tells you who the best bets and biggest risks are in his Hit Parade for Week 7.
Chris Getz saw the most extensive playing time of his career in 2011 but it did not increase his power numbers. He did not hit a home run for the second straight season and posted 26 RBI in 380 at-bats. While he was able to raise his average from .237 the year before to .255, his slugging percentage rose from just .277 to .287. Heading into 2012, Getz will compete with Johnny Giavotella for the starting job at second base, but the 28-year-old is not the long-term option going forward. Even if he sees some steady playing time for the Royals next season, leave Getz for AL-only formats on Draft Day. (Updated 2/9/12)
