Fantasy Analysis
This hot start certainly puts Martinez on the Fantasy radar. Remember, he's getting a fresh start with the Astros after years of failing to live up to the hype of being a top prospect with the Mets. Injuries were his downfall, but F-Mart always had potential. The Astros are starting Brian Bogusevic in right field to open the year, but he's off to a poor offensive start. If that trend continues, then Houston might consider bringing Martinez to the majors. You probably don't have to stash Martinez in seasonal formats, but he should on the radar, especially for NL-only owners. (Updated 04/16/2012).
