Romak gets nice start to spring: Royals OF Jamie Romak made his spring debut on Thursday against the Angels and wasted no time making an impact. He took the first pitch he saw from Trevor Reckling and belted it over the left-field wall for a two-run homer. "I've just been taking ground balls and BP, I hadn't seen a pitch yet," Romak told MLB.com. "I was just looking for a fastball and swung hard at it. It felt good, a nice way to start the spring." Romak finished the game 1 for 2. (Updated 03/04/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Romak, who spent the last eight seasons in the minors, has yet to record an at-bat in the majors and has mainly become organizational depth at age 25. While it was nice for him to start spring on a good note, the Royals have a ton of infield prospects that they are itching to call up, and Romak will most likely spent 2011 in the minors again. Plan on ignoring him in all formats on Draft Day. (Updated 03/04/2011).
