Preseason Outlook

For a while, Janish looked like he might actually start at shortstop for the Reds, but that pipe dream ended when the team signed Orlando Cabrera to a free-agent deal. It's for the best in Fantasy. Janish has zero upside offensively, so even if he did end up starting, he'd be no more than a last resort in NL-only leagues. Now, he's not even worth owning. (Updated 1/31/10)
