|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
(7/15/14) Twins outfielder Sam Fuld went into the All-Star break on quite a run offensively. He has hit safely in 12 of 13 July games, which is good enough for a .450 average, .540 on-base percentage, .550 slugging percentage and 1.090 OPS in that span.
Fuld has one double, one home run, six RBI, seven runs, nine walks and four stolen bases in July as well. His batting average has improved from .213 to .269 in his last 13 games.

(6/12/14) Twins outfielder Sam Fuld is expected to return from the disabled list prior to Friday's game against the Tigers in Detroit, the St. Paul Pioneer-Press reports. Fuld has not played since suffering a concussion May 7. He slugged .786 in four rehab games at Double-A New Britain.
|Sam Fuld could return from DL Friday |
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
(6/11/14) The Twins may have a need for an outfielder in the coming days, which could coincide nicely with Sam Fuld's looming return from the disabled list.
Fuld, who has not played since suffering a concussion May 7, could be activated from the if Aaron Hicks requires a trip to the DL. Fuld has been playing at Double-A New Britain on a rehab assignment, but could be ready to play in the majors as soon as Friday, when the team opens a series in Detroit.
"I wouldn't rule it out," assistant general manager Rob Antony told MLB.com Wednesday. "I think he's getting to the point where he's having consistent days with no problems and no side effects or recurring headaches. He's swinging the bat fine."
|Sam Fuld hit .199 in 2013, with two home runs and eight steals over 176 at-bats. While Fuld can offer some value in speed and possibly average, he doesn't get enough playing time to merit an add, even in AL-only formats. Until he can get regular at-bats, Fuld is best left undrafted.
