|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
(2/27/14) Ten days after being placed on the 60-day disabled list following Tommy John surgery in May, Athletics right-hander Eric O'Flaherty has scheduled a throwing session on flat ground. O'Flaherty is set for that session on Friday, but he has to temper his enthusiasm.
"There are times you feel game-ready, but you fight that," he told the Bay Area News Group.
No matter how game-ready he feels, he will not appear in a game until at least the second half of the 2014 season.
