Preseason Outlook

After an encouraging finish in 2008, Casilla regressed in every way possible last year, making you wonder if the 25-year-old will ever get another chance to play every day. He opened the year as the team's starting second baseman but lost his job in early May and spent the rest of the year bouncing between the majors and the minors, never significantly improving on a batting average that finished at .202. Fortunately, he plays for the Twins, whose best alternatives include Nick Punto and Brendan Harris. A hot streak could get him back in the lineup, making him worth a flier in AL-only leagues.
