Fantasy Analysis
Beltre has now hit safely in 10 straight contests and is batting .341 (14 for 41) with two home runs and eight RBI over that stretch. While h has been playing through a nagging hamstring injury, Beltre did say he is starting to feel better, which was evidenced by when he stretched a single into a double on Friday night. "It does feel better. I'm feeling more comfortable and I can push it a little more," he said. "It might be all the way he healed, but I don't want to try and find out and hurt it. I'm not going to force it. It will happen when naturally." While Beltre isn't still quite at 100 percent, the injury doesn't seem to be bothering his bat. Leave him active in all formats moving forward. (Updated 05/20/2012).

05/18/2012 23:35 Beltre's HR, Rangers' bullpen top Astros
Adrian Beltre hit a home run and Michael Young broke out of a slump with two hits and an RBI to lift the Texas Rangers to a 4-1 victory against the Houston Astros on Friday night.
After a bounce-back campaign with the Red Sox in 2012, Adrian Beltre signed with the Rangers last offseason and provided an already stout lineup with another big bat. He batted just .237 over his first 36 games but his average would not fall below that mark from there on out. He would slug .499 with 19 home runs in the first half and finished the year with 32 homers and 105 RBI. Beltre also hit five long balls in the postseason. It was his second straight 100-RBI campaign and his .296 average was nearly 20 points above his career mark. The 32-year-old has posted a .350 on-base percentage and .557 slugging percentage over the last two seasons and should be able to put up similar numbers in 2012. Beltre has solidified himself as a top Fantasy third baseman once again so target him in the early to middle rounds in mixed leagues on Draft Day. (Updated 2/9/12)
