Okajima headed back to Japan: Pitcher Hideki Okajima has signed with the Softbank Hawks in Japan and was introduced on Monday. The left-hander was invited to spring training by the Yankees but had his minor-league deal voided when he failed the physical. (Updated 03/05/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Okajima had a successful career in Japan before coming to the majors and had some solid campaigns with the Red Sox. He posted a career 3.11 ERA in five season in Boston but fell off towards the end of his stay in America.
