Buck earns another start : Astros outfielder Travis Buck earned his 10th start of the season in right field for Sunday's contest against the Marlins. Buck, who entered the contest batting .297 with a .366 on-base percentage, has been used mostly as a pinch-hitter thus far. "It's funny because people always say since I'm doing such a good job as a pinch-hitter right now, that's what my role might be, but I look at it as whenever I'm in the lineup, it's a great to get multiple at-bats," Buck said. "It can get kind of tough sometimes if you're pinch-hitting if you're not getting the at-bats every day and not seeing live pitching." (Updated 05/07/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Buck is 5 for 7 with two doubles and a triple as a pinch-hitter, so it is not hard to understand why manager Brad Mills likes using him in that role. Unfortunately for Fantasy owners, that doesn't do much for his Fantasy value. Unless Buck can find a away to start seeing regular at-bats, he will remain a player worth avoiding in the majority of formats. Continue to view him as such moving forward. (Updated 05/07/2012).
