Astros give Buck minor-league deal: The Astros signed OF Travis Buck to a minor-league deal on Wednesday. Buck spent 2011 in the Indians organization and was even a part-time starter at times because of injuries to Grady Sizemore and Shin-Soo Choo. He hit .228 with two homers in 149 at-bats.
