|Aaron Laffey not worth much attention|
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
(4/30/13) Given the Dodgers' injury issues in the rotation, it's not far fetched to assume that Aaron Laffey could find himself starting before long. The Dodgers have three starters on the disabled list and another, Ted Lilly, set for an MRI.
Laffey was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays, and he signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers Tuesday and will report to Triple-A Albuquerque. Laffey had a 7.11 ERA in 12 2/3 innings between the Mets and Blue Jays this season.
Laffey will have to work his way to the majors before being worth a look in Fantasy, and even then he will likely be little more than an NL-only option as a member of the rotation.

(4/29/13) Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Laffey, who was designated for assignment Saturday, has elected free agency instead of taking an outright assignment to Triple-A Buffalo. Laffey, who has pitched for the Mets and Blue Jays, has a 7.11 ERA through five appearances (three starts).

(4/26/13) Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Laffey, who made a spot start in place of Josh Johnson, did not last long Friday night against the Yankees.
Laffey, who made his third start of the season, surrendered two runs, two hits and walked five in 2 2/3 innings of work. He threw 55 pitches, 23 strikes and did not factor into the decision.
Laffey will be ready to make another start Thursday at home against Boston if Johnson is not ready. He has a 4.50 ERA in 10 career appearances (five starts) against the Red Sox.

(4/26/13) Blue Jays starter Aaron Laffey will start in Josh Johnson's spot Friday against the Yankees, MLB.com reports.
Josh Johnson is dealing with triceps soreness. The Blue Jays called the move precautionary, but Johnson's extensive injury history makes it tough to dismiss further concerns. Laffey has allowed eight runs on 16 hits over 10 innings.
