(3/29/12) Kansas City sent left-handers Francisley Bueno and Tommy Hottovy, along with catcher Max Ramirez and infielder Kevin Kouzmanoff to the team's minor league camp on Thursday. The roster now leaves the Royals with 31 players.

Royals' plight highlights dearth of talent at catcher
Kansas City catcher Salvador Perez is scheduled to undergo knee surgery on Friday and the team is searching for a short-term solution to pair with veteran Bryan Pena. There are few options on the market, as catcher may be the toughest position to fill.
