Chris Dickerson will continue to see more playing time in Reimold's absence.

by Ed Gauna | CBSSports.com (5/4/13) Orioles outfielder Nolan Reimold had a productive day at the plate Saturday against the Angels. He went 1 for 4 with home run, two RBI and a pair of runs scored in a 5-4 win.
Reimold drove in a run with a sac fly in the fifth inning before launching a solo homer off Dane De La Rosa in the seventh. It was his fourth long ball.
The 29-year-old is batting .212 (7 for 33) in the last 10 games with seven runs scored.

| Nolan Reimold rested Tuesday |
by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (4/30/13) The Orioles rested outfielder Nolan Reimold Tuesday in Seattle. Chris Dickerson started in right field with Nate McLouth in left and Nick Markakis the designated hitter.
Reimold had started five of the previous six games either as the DH or in left field. Reimold is 7 for 31 (.226) over his last 10 games with a homer and four RBI. That is an improvement considering he's batting .211 with three homers and seven RBI in 71 at-bats this season.

| Nolan Reimold moving past hamstring issue |
by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (4/21/13) The Orioles gave outfielder Nolan Reimold another start as the designated hitter Sunday against the Dodgers with right-hander Stephen Fife on the mound.
There was some talk after the first game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Dodgers that Reimold was dealing with hamstring issues again. Reimold was removed from the contest in the eighth inning after hitting a tie-breaking two-run double. It was thought, perhaps, Reimold, who has had ongoing issues with the hamstring this year, was hurting, MASNSports.com reports.
That said, Reimold returned to the lineup Monday and manager Buck Showalter said he's fine to play going forward.
"I had plans to pinch-run for him anyway to get him off the field," Showalter said Saturday night. "He ices it and does work on it every day. He has different degrees of it. He said he feels it now and then, but I don't think it's going to keep him from being a player (Sunday) if we so choose."
Reimold has gone 3 for 7 the last two games with a double, two homers and five RBI to break out of an early season slump.

Nolan Reimold hits one out
|
| You'd be crazy to expect anything from Nolan Reimold in 2013 when injuries have limited him to only 450 big-league at-bats over the last three seasons. Then again, you might not mind being crazy if you remember him hitting .480 with five home runs over a six-game stretch during one of the rare occasions he was healthy last April. Reimold has always had upside. It was apparent from his rookie season in 2009, when he hit 15 homers with an .831 OPS in 358 at-bats. But between the injuries and the Orioles' hesitance to provide him a lineup spot, he hasn't had a chance to build off that performance. Last year was his best yet, but just when he looked like he'd be able to capitalize, he suffered a herniated disk in his neck. He wound up having surgery in July, ending his season. Since then, the Orioles have been to the playoffs, and late-season addition Nate McLouth, who now claims he left field job that once belonged to Reimold, was a big reason why. Chances are the Orioles will still find at-bats for Reimold (for however long he's healthy), but because he isn't promised an everyday role, he's a sleeper better left for AL-only leagues.
