The 28-year-old Perez played in 41 games with Tampa Bay back in 2008 and 2009. He hit .234 with three home runs over 94 at-bats. Playing with the Triple-A Iowa Cubs in the Chicago organization this season, Perez hit .238 over 76 games. Perez doesn't figure to become a Fantasy option at any point this season.
