| Reds outright Jason Donald to Triple-A |

(4/5/13) The Reds have outrighted utility infielder Jason Donald to Triple-A, the club announced Friday.
Donald was designated for assignment earlier in the week. The 28-year-old hit .202/.246/.282 (50 OPS+) in 43 games for Cleveland last season.

(3/31/13) The Reds made several moves to finalize their roster for the regular season, reassigning second baseman Emmanuel Burriss, catcher Corky Miller and outfielders Denis Phipps and Derrick Robinson to their minor-league camp. Cincinnati also outrighted pitcher Jose Arredondo to Triple-A Louisville while optioning pitcher Logan Ondrusek to Double-A Pensacola.
Third baseman Jason Donald also was designated for assignment and the Reds purchased the contract of shortstop Cesar Izturis to take his place on the 40-man roster.

(3/25/13) Reds infielder Jason Donald said Monday that his knee feels "awesome," the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Donald is scheduled to see at-bats in a minor league game Monday.
Donald had been out the last few days with a sprained knee but is on the mend. Donald, 28, is batting .303 this spring over 33 at-bats with four RBI and a stolen base.

(3/24/13) Cincinnati infielder Jason Donald has been out the last few days due to a sprained knee, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports Sunday.
Donald is expected to back up at second, shortstop and third base this season for the Reds. He was injured sliding into second base on Friday and is day to day.
Donald, 28, is batting .303 this spring over 33 at-bats with four RBI and a stolen base.

| Jason Donald went from one Ohio team (Cleveland) to another (Cincinnati) in the December three-way deal between the Indians, Reds and Diamondbacks. His outlook for 2013 doesn't look much more promising with the change in scenery, as he is still stuck behind a talented lineup and won't see many at-bats without at least one major injury hitting the Reds.
