Preseason Outlook

The 27-year-old Larish spent some time with the Tigers early last season and showed all the power you'd expect for a 20-homer guy in the minors, hitting four homers in 74 at-bats. Unfortunately, he had trouble making consistent contact, which fits in with his .261 minor-league batting average and explains why the Tigers never considered him a serious prospect. Coming off wrist surgery late last year, he's a long shot to make the major-league roster, and even if he does, it'll be as a reserve. Ignore him on Draft Day. (Updated 1/19/10)
