| Twins transfer Tim Wood to 60-day disabled list |

(5/24/13) The Twins have transferred pitcher Tim Wood to the 60-day disabled list, the club announced Friday.
The club needed his roster spot to call up Samuel Deduno to pitch Friday's game against Detroit. Wood has been dealing with a shoulder and back injury all season. He is expected to go on a rehab assignment sometime in the next week. Wood will be eligible to return May 30.

(5/19/13) Twins reliever Tim Wood, who is on the 15-day disabled list, was diagnosed with rotator cuff inflammation and biceps tendinitis, assistant general manager Rob Antony told MLB.com Sunday. Wood is expected to start another rehab assignment in 10 days.

(5/16/13) The MRI on Twins reliever Tim Wood's shoulder came back clean, according to MLB.com. He's headed back to Minnesota for a precautionary second opinion.
Wood was on a rehab assignment before it ended because of soreness in his shoulder.

(5/13/13) Twins reliever Tim Wood is expected to undergo an MRI on his throwing shoulder Wednesday, according to the Pioneer Press. Wood has been on the disabled list all season.

(5/9/13) Twins reliever Tim Wood had his rehab assignment rescinded Thursday after he came down with soreness in his shoulder. Wood has been on the disabled list since spring training due to a rotator cuff strain.
He will be re-evaluated at Triple-A Rochester, but he is not expected to be activated off the disabled list next week, as originally expected, according to the Star Tribune.
