Preseason Outlook

Porcello not involved in decision: Detroit rookie SP Rick Porcello was good on Tuesday against the Twins in the one-game playoff to determine the AL Central champion. He just wasn't good enough to win the game. Porcello instead took a no decision as he allowed two runs -- one earned -- on four hits over 5 2/3 innings. He walked two and struck out eight. His ERA is 3.96 and that is how he'll end the regular season.
