| Julio Borbon not much to see |

(4/19/13) I'm not sure what's with all the enthusiasm over Julio Borbon. The way Fantasy owners are flocking to his player page, you'd think the Cubs had just pulled off the coup of the century.
He once looked like he'd be a useful steals specialist for the Rangers but was never able to hit enough to stick in that role. I don't see why that would change with his new team. Theo Epstein has never shown much fondness for steals specialists (see Campana, Tony).
Borbon isn't an upgrade over David DeJesus or Nate Schierholtz, so I don't think steady at-bats are in his future. You can leave him for the deepest of NL-only Rotisserie leagues.

(4/19/13) The Cubs have claimed outfielder Julio Borbon from the Rangers, CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman reports.
Borbon, 27, was placed on waivers by the Rangers Wednesday. He spent 2012 at Triple-A Round Rock in the Pacific Coast League, where he hit .304/.349/.433 in 533 at-bats. The lefty owns a .775 OPS over three seasons in Triple-A.

(4/17/13) The Rangers placed outfielder Julio Borbon on outright waivers after they failed to trade him. If he clears waivers, then Borbon will be outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock, per MLB.com.

(4/17/13) The Rangers are expected to trade outfielder Julio Borbon, reports CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. Heyman lists the Orioles, Mets and Astros as potential suitors.
The Twins have also been reportedly in the mix for Borbon, was was placed on waivers last week.

(4/14/13) The Baltimore Orioles have shown apparent interest in recently designated for assignment outfielder Julio Borbon of the Rangers, ESPN reports Sunday. Baltimore has found the asking price for Borbon to be too high.
Borbon, who has one at-bat and run scored this year for Texas, is a speedster who could provide the Orioles with outfield depth, likely in place of Chris Dickerson, who was recently called up for that purpose.
