Preseason Outlook

Masterson was a much bigger name in Fantasy with the Red Sox, but he gets a great opportunity with the Indians. He could start, set up or perhaps even close in 2010. The uncertainty makes him a bit of a risky pick before his role is decided, but he should go off the board sometime in the latter rounds of a standard mixed league. Consider the right-hander a steal at that point, especially in leagues where you get the benefits of his dual eligibility as a starter and relief pitcher. (Updated 1/7/10)
