Tigers DFA Balester: After Tuesday's loss to the Indians, the Tigers announced that they would designate relief pitcher Collin Balester for assignment on Wednesday, to bring up outfielder Quintin Berry from Triple-A Toledo. Balester appeared in 11 games for the Tigers this season, posting a 6.50 ERA with a 2-0 record. (Updated 05/22/2012)
