Lopez to report to Triple-A: MLB.com reports Felipe Lopez told the Brewers on Sunday that he will accept his assignment and report to Triple-A Nashville on Monday. Lopez, who was outrighted on Wednesday, is batting .206 with two homers and 11 RBI between stints with Tampa Bay and Milwaukee this season. (Updated 08/28/2011)

Lopez was looking for another major-league gig but since he was unable to find one, he will now head to Triple-A. The 31-year-old does not appear to be a candidate for recall once rosters expand in September but even if he does play in the majors against this season, continue to ignore Lopez in the majority of Fantasy formats.
