(6/30/11) Cleveland released SS Adam Everett on Thursday after designating him for assignment earlier this week. Everett played in 34 games with the Indians and finished 13 for 60 (.217) at the plate. His batting average has not topped .250 since his career-high .273 mark in 2004 with Houston.
