(5/22/13) Mets reliever Tim Byrdak, rehabbing from shoulder surgery, threw his third bullpen session Wednesday.
Byrdak underwent surgery last September. He's still likely a month or two away from returning to the Mets.

(5/15/13) On Tuesday, Mets relief pitcher Tim Byrdak threw his first bullpen session since having surgery to repair a torn capsule in his shoulder, SportsNet New York reports. Manager Terry Collins is hoping to get Byrdak back from rehab in July.

Byrdak is recovering from surgery that repaired a torn capsule in his shoulder. Byrdak is hoping to ramp up his rehab the next two months, with hopes of pitching on a mound by June 1. He’s looking to rejoin the team in late June.

(2/11/13) Mets relief pitcher Tim Byrdak is aiming at a July 1 return to the majors after undergoing surgery to repair a torn anterior capsule in his pitching shoulder, reports ESPN. “If we get any time in June, I think that would be icing on the cake,” said Byrdak.
