| Kyle McClellan feeling good in rehab |

(5/20/13) Kyle McClellan took another step towards getting back on a major league mound Monday, the Dallas Morning News reports. McClellan made his second appearance with Double-A Frisco.
He pitched an inning and did not give up a hit. McClellan last pitched in the majors in July 2012 with the Cardinals before he underwent season-ending shoulder surgery. He signed a minor league contract with the Rangers in the offseason, but injured his lat in spring training.
"I feel, now, better than I’ve felt in two years," McClellan said. "I don’t have to think about my shoulder when I go out there."

(5/16/13) Rangers relief pitcher Kyle McClellan was activated from the Triple-A disabled list and will pitch an inning Thursday, ESPN Dallas reports.
McClellan has been recovering from a strained lat muscle suffered in mid-March.

(4/30/13) Rangers reliever Kyle McClellan, on the disabled list with a lat injury, has been throwing off a mound at extended spring training, MLB.com reports.
The Rangers do not have a timetable for McClellan's return. He's been dealing with a strained right lat since mid-March.

(4/19/13) Rangers pitcher Kyle McClellan is expected to be ready to throw off mound by May 1, FOX Sports Southwest reported Friday. McClellan has been sidelined since middle of March with a strained right lat muscle.

(3/24/13) Rangers reliever Kyle McClellan, suffering from a strained right lat muscle, is about three weeks away from long toss and flat-ground throwing, the Dallas Morning News reports. McClellan chose not to opt out of his minor-league deal with the Rangers earlier this week in order to rehabilitate from the injury with the team.
