After posting a 2.14 ERA in 70 appearances in 2010, Evan Meek could never get on track in 2011, as he was hindered all season by injuries. He pitched through a shoulder injury in April and posted a 5.63 ERA over his first 11 appearances before landing on the DL. He would return in late May only to land on the shelf again a couple of weeks later due to tendinitis in his shoulder. The right-hander was finally healthy enough to pitch again in September and gave up just one earned run over his final seven appearances. Meek was a top setup man in 2010 and should be able to return to that form this season as long as he can prove healthy. But with Joel Hanrahan closing out games in Pittsburgh, consider the 28-year-old as more of an option for deeper Rotisserie leagues that value true middle men in 2012. (Updated 1/12/12)
