Outman off the shelf : According to the Denver Post, the Rockies sent pitcher Drew Pomeranz to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday. They reinstated Josh Outman from the disabled list. Alex White and Christian Friedrich will remain in the rotation. Outman was on the 15-day disabled list with an oblique injury before being reinstated on Friday. (Updated 05/11/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
The Rockies will likely use Outman as a long reliever out of the bullpen, but could use him as a spot starter if need. He went 8-8 with a 3.75 ERA in starting and relief duty for the Athletics over the last three seasons. Fantasy owners shouldn't pay too much attention to him though as he holds low-end appeal.
